Re: What do all you 'foogers think of the DSI Prophet?

For whats its worth, I think if you want a prophet anything you should get a prophet 5 rev3.3. It sounds amazing, and doesnt have an annoying interface. Less features and all, but who needs that many anyway? And if you need that many/kind of modulations, then you shouldnt worry about any board becau...

Re: Whilst on presets - what's your favourite, out of the bo

I also enjoy the LFO out from the mf103 going into the Filter Input on the vx352. Dont tell anyone that I actually like a preset though O_o As for the factors, I didnt dig ...

Re: Excited about MF108M order

Im sure youre going to love it! Now on to my observations regarding this awesome unit;It has a serious sweet spot on the flanger side. By that I mean the controls on your sound source(I use mine with various drum machines, so stuff like Decay/Volume/Accent etc etc) can have varying degrees of effect...

Re: Scared to buy a Slim Phatty-ease my fears

I feel as if the real issue is why havent you bought one yet? lol

Re: Little Phatty vs. Slim Phatty

Well, like mentioned previously, each unit is different. There will be subtle nuances of each machine that may effect the sound. That being said, even with a 4 slim phatty chain, sometimes, even with the same patch, I can tell which unit is being played due to this, but only when playing it by itsel...

Re: Phat chimes

I am sure you can get some good bell sounds by using the mf102's LFO, or CARRIER OUT with the LP's CV IN. If you have a CP251, and a MF101 you can really get some RESONANCE tweaking going on as well. The thing is, works best with no oscillators, as previously mentioned, and turning the RES up quite ...
