Re: Moog One vs Matriarch Sound?
Well I haven’t a Matriach, but I do have a Model D. My personal take is the One can sound great as a Moog mono synth, I have many Model D patches which sound absolutely lovely on the One. But the One is for me my modular dream. A great sounding synth, with modulation that is simple to program and aw...

Re: Transpose Issue Confirmation
I have tried it (ALTHOUGH my midi in is via the USB) however I switch midi in for synth 1 off and no issues as far as I can tell. So maybe I'm not reflecting your test accurately?

Re: MIDI Sync Issue
The bpm of the Moog doesn't with logic either and I don't think it is picking up the master clock Firstly I connect my one to Logic through USB. You need to make sure that logic preferences for sync to the one (or your unitor) are correct in the logic midi preferences project sync settings. Make su...

Re: v.1.31 freeze
Agree!! I have a slight Mod Wheel calibration issue (doesn't quite reset to 0 at minimum point - stays at 1%) and according to one or two others this is not atypical and Moog have a calibration process that they have shared with other affected users - I dropped a line to Moog too so I guess they wil...

Re: v.1.31 freeze
One final thing, unplug the power socket, leave it a few mins then give it a go. I hope you get something from Moog quickly

Re: v.1.31 freeze
The first thing I’d try is disconnect any midi, cvs except the fob with the updates on, then repower the one. If you still have a problem, time to drop Moog an urgent line.
Did you use the Moog usb and have your other updTes gone ok?

Re: VST/AU Plugin?
Well we’re all different but I think it’s the easiest synth I’ve ever programmed. The mod matrix is a bit primitive and setting up modulation is tedious imo

Re: Firmware 1.3 released
sort of like a super modular system. Polyphonic, no less! This is why I went for the One to start, I wanted analogue poly with huge mod potential. I think they are getting So close. I had a few wobbles earlier last year, but my faith in them as a core engineering driven company seems well founded.

Re: Minimoog Model D IOS app
I get what you’re saying, but they need to survive too, and I suspect that’s why they moved some iOS products forward. I don’t know Moogs accounts and sales strategy, but if that iOS cash flow keeps the engineers knocking out the classic vintage kit, fair play I say.

Re: VST/AU Plugin?
It’s primarily an analog polysynth, with good midi. I personally can’t see the point in a plugin. I’d prefer they concentrate on getting the firmware to where it’s aimed for. I can’t think what a plug in would offer over such a wonderful UI that the One has. In fact it kinda feels a bit dumb to inve...

Re: minimoog pitch wheel. I know, not again..
My reissue was very stiff when it was straight out of the box (certainly compared with most modern boards), but three years later I’d say it’s perfect!
