Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
to me it seems to be the peak of what an analog synth can do without going into the stratosphere on cost (48 schippmann TZFM oscillators, anyone?), and the user interface puts it solidly in the 'professional studio tool' bracket This. In terms of versatility it’s close to modular and that’s what in...

Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
I have a Model D and a P6 as well as a few other synths. I’ve also played or owned most of the other vintage synths from back in the day and I feel you’re being a little harsh. I agree some of the demos are by engineers rather than musicians or sound designers and this might be what you’re really st...

I’d be surprised if this couldn’t be resolved remotely.

I’d contact Moog support directly if I were you.
Hope it works out.

.....and it’s great! If I had a CS80 it would now be redundant
Some great sounds across those three synths and with all that modulation potential, I’m thinking Moog knocked it out of the park.
Thanks Daniel.

For some reason Dan, the link appears to show no video in you tube? Love to see it.

Re: Without & With FX Video
Thanks Dan, looking forward to this. I’ve enjoyed the Moog ones too, I can see some folks seem to have a problem with them, but I really dig the Moog team demonstrating their creation, I actually find it inspiring that they clearly take such pride in their work.
Cheers Ian

Re: Important Minimoog Players and Their Groundbreaking Tech
I’m not sure which forum this belongs to but you could do worse as a starter by reviewing Moog’s own video of the history of the minimoog. Here you’ll get a more rounded view of musicians who have used the mini to great acclaim and they key point of how they pioneered it’s use as an instrument. Mayb...

Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
FYI. The P6 has VCO’s not DCO’s. Notwithstanding that, I’d be interested in the comparison.

Re: Model D midi question
Having done a auick test I played a series of notes stacatto with countour up so count envelope click, same sound with midi. Turned attack up on amp env no click on either. In all cases my midi sounded same as played. I did not have velocity or after touch cvs enabled.

Re: Model D midi question
I use midi too for the mini, most often when I’m doing a sequence, I have to say I can’t recall the click being any worse than using the keybed. I can’t this night why a note on would make a difference, I will look tomorrow when I’m in the studio to double check.

Re: NEED HELP SETTING UP MY MINIMOOG TO RECORD AUDIO TO LOGI
I think it does sound as though you have not configured your interface or se it up in Logic quite right.
You see the focusrite in the preferences as the interface not core audio? - you are hearing your soft synths audio from your focusrite?

Have you selected that audio input in logic itself?
