Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist

I know, it's about finding the value that the knob was set to when the preset was saved. I guess I'm missing something here. Yes, you are massively missing the point. This has been requested from the start when the synth was first released. It has nothing to do with the pot mode. We want to SEE acc...

Re: Moog Sub-37 News?

It's crazy that Moog feel the need to hide all their software and editors. What is the point? You need the hardware for the software to work. Same with the Minitaur. Took me ages to find a link to the editor.
Why the secrecy? Why do they hide them?

Do you maybe just need to adjust the screen contrast in the menu?

Re: Changing Minitaur sounds via footswitch

Have you set the midi channel on the Minitaur to be the same as the Midi Mouse?
Hold down all 4 big buttons on Minitaur. They should start flashing. Now send something from the midi mouse and that will change the Minitaur to what midi channel it should be on.

Re: Distortion pedal for sub37

The Riot sounds like a good amp. Yes I have tried it. Where did I say I had not tried it? I have assumed nothing. I meant have you tried it with a synth, specifically any of the phattys. ..... And I meant Yes, I have tried it with a synth. That is what i was referring to above...... And, yes, it wa...

Re: Distortion pedal for sub37

Got rid of a lot of these pedals now since I got my Axefx XL. Fantastic bit of gear isn't it? I have the original 2 (not the XL) - I think it's probably the best gear purchase I ever made excluding actual guitars. Yes, it is very very good. Just got the AX8 too. Not as powerful as the Axefx but hop...

Got rid of a lot of these pedals now since I got my Axefx XL. I still have the Riot (although that is also modelled in th...

Re: Distortion pedal for sub37

If you want a really nice distortion, the Suhr Riot would be top of my list. I am a guitarist. Big Muff's can be harsh and grainy. I would go more upmarket. I agree for the most part. I would never consider ANY distortion pedal that didn't have a blend knob. And not too sound too snotty, but unless...

Re: Sub 37 mod wheel / aftertouch question

I'd rather love to be able to use MOD Wheel and Aftertouch for the same MOD bus, by adding the two controller values, not multiplying them. I completely agree! In fact this is planned for the future of the Sub 37, but it requires some very low-level changes to the sound engine. Some of the necessar...

Re: Sub 37 Cookbook?

i think it's better if people just upload patched they are happy with rather than be forced to upload 5 patches just to get a preset they might want. The site would soon fill up with patches that are average at best and would become harder to navigate having to sift through all the mud to find the g...

Re: Knobtweak group

Is there a way to get into the Yahoo Knobtweak group without a Yahoo account ? I would like to download the default sound banks A~G (which are not on the Moog download page) and other Voyager resources. It seems that all the Orwellian companies such as Google, Microsoft and also Yahoo now decided t...
