Re: Will moog eventually add MIDI to all the foogers?
I'd kill for an MF-101M with an LFO and midi controlled drive. Who knows about the Moogerfooger's future though.

Re: 104Z loosing the momentum in a amp effect loop
None of them are true bypass. Don't let that scare you though. Many of the greatest and most valuable effects in the world are buffered bypass. It all comes down to how good the buffer is. If you couldn't tell, odds are it's pretty good buffer.

Re: 104Z loosing the momentum in a amp effect loop
Try increasing the drive and/or loop gain until you get to the point where it oscillates how you want. It sounds like your other pedals may not be set correctly to unity gain, though. Remember that the MF-101 and MF-102 are not true bypass and have the drive permanently enabled even if the effect is...

Re: What's going to replace the 3 foogers?
I vote for Fooger sized Spring Reverb, Octaver, and a midi preset controller! I do have a feeling that nothing will be coming to replace them though. If the minifoogers had much more success, we'll probably be seeing more of them in the future.

Controlling MF-104M with 500 series delay plugin
I just realized that quite a few of the Midi CC #s for the 500 series delay match up with the Moogerfooger delays. Does this mean that I should be able to use the plugins to call up previous settings I used while recording/mixing? There are a few things like the range switch and filter that don't ma...

Re: MF-104M Discontinued?
Well, it's official. The analog delays are "suspended" until they can find more chips. I'm really glad I managed to get a second delay when I could! I hope these don't raise to absurd resale values.

Re: MF104M Midi Controller Question
The Tech21 pedals only send PCs (Program Changes). In order to control your Moogerfooger, you need something to send CCs (Control Changes). The Moogs have no internal preset memory. Unfortunately, most midi foot controllers aren't set up to send a bunch of CCs. Usually CCs are used for real time con...

Re: FS/FT: Mint MF104Z
You can use a midi controller to adjust the settings. There are also hidden settings that can be adjusted via midi. If you use multiple time based devices and use midi clock, you can sync them together without adjusting the time knob. If you're the kind of person that just wants to easily move knobs...

Re: Moog/Realistic MG-1 Mod Guide
One thing I failed to mention is that I installed a new 50KA peat emph slide pot from Syntaur. I wonder is the pot is bad or possibly the wrong value. That could certainly be it. Doing multiple things at once makes this stuff more difficult to track down. Doublecheck the pots solder joints and veri...

Re: Moog/Realistic MG-1 Mod Guide
It should take around 10 to 15 minutes if you're already disassembled. You can find the procedure on page 18 of the manual: http://manuals.fdiskc.com/flat/Realistic%20MG-1%20Service%20Manual.pdf A lot of DMMs have a frequency reader that you can use. A frequency generator will also do the trick. Oth...

FS/FT: Mint MF104Z
I have a MF-104Z that has only been removed from the box a couple times. Otherwise it's been stored in a closet exactly how it was shipped. Includes box, PSU, manual and warranty card. Sounds amazing and I do love the oscillation on this unit more than the other Moog delays I've used. I'd like to tr...

MF-101 + MF-103 to get Fender Blackface Vibrato
I spent some time today replicating the vibrato (tremolo) on my '67 Fender Vibrolux Reverb. It's extremely close. In fact, neither my band members nor I can tell if I'm using the Moog or the amp's vibrato unless we check to see which is in use. I'm using a Mf-101 Lowpass Filter and a MF-103 12-Stage...
