Re: Sub 37 sounds on its own?
Also, Chimponaut has a very good idea about saving patches without latch. Then you can engage it when ready and won't be surprised by it... Especially during live performances!

Re: Sub 37 sounds on its own?
That is the correct behavior assuming you've played a note since turning the instrument on. Even in a patch without latch selected in the EG (or in panel mode), you can push the button and the last note you played with start sounding.

Re: Sub 37 waveshape oscillator's
I think the main message here is that an oscilloscope is the best tool for identifying waveforms. You only need something wth 20kHz resolution. So an old as dirt Tek will suffice. (I use a 2215.) theyre really handy tools for any analog synth application!

Re: Sub 37 waveshape oscillator's
I find that my OSC1,2 and SUB are capable of producing the same square shape. The SUB requires more gain to produce the same amplitude as the OSCs. We agree that OSC1 and 2 can produce the same square. Therefore, if you set OSC1 and octave up from OSC2, you can compare OSC2 and SUB (always 1 octave ...

Re: mother 32 amplification
The mixer is all you need. It should have a headphone output. A multi-headphone amp would be useful if you want others to be able to listen in real time via headphones. Otherwise, just the mixer should do.

Heavy? Yes. But it's got wheels. So as long as there aren't stairs, it's no problem. That being said, there are no effects on this amp.

I use a KC-550. It may be overkill for your application. Not sure. But it's a beast for sure. And it can handle any low notes you throw at it at quite a loud volume. I also use it for my bass guitars.
