Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths

FYI. The P6 has VCO’s not DCO’s. Notwithstanding that, I’d be interested in the comparison.

Re: Model D midi question

Having done a auick test I played a series of notes stacatto with countour up so count envelope click, same sound with midi. Turned attack up on amp env no click on either. In all cases my midi sounded same as played. I did not have velocity or after touch cvs enabled.

Re: Model D midi question

I use midi too for the mini, most often when I’m doing a sequence, I have to say I can’t recall the click being any worse than using the keybed. I can’t this night why a note on would make a difference, I will look tomorrow when I’m in the studio to double check.

Re: NEED HELP SETTING UP MY MINIMOOG TO RECORD AUDIO TO LOGI

I think it does sound as though you have not configured your interface or se it up in Logic quite right.

You see the focusrite in the preferences as the interface not core audio? - you are hearing your soft synths audio from your focusrite?

Have you selected that audio input in logic itself?

Re: Model D or MFB Dominion 1?

Hi, I doubt whether the Model D will limit you too unduly with sound design - ok its modulation is more limited, but unless you want multi modulation all over the place you can do more than ok - see this - I really enjoyed this and this is the old version of the Model D - with even less modulation o...

Re: New reissue Model D Faulty?

Just a thought, it's. not osc 3 modulation? I note you have mod mix to 0 , which applies equal mix of modulation settings determined by switch position. Try taking osc 3 out of modulation switch setting and switching off any osc modulation, can't see if you have it set on? I'll try my model d later ...

Re: Model D arrived today in the UK

I was just moving my Moog packaging and found a cardboard tube (which I'd assumed was part of the protection during transit). Anyway, turns out it contained a really cool Keith Emerson playing model d poster!!! How wonderful, it's being framed this weekend and getting on the studio wall. Emerson was...

Not true, see the SOS review, where reviewer measures attack and its bang on. My model d is v snappy indeed I get the click if set to 0 attack.

Re: Model D arrived today in the UK

Just a quick update on my experience with new Model D - I cant believe how just one oscillator can sound so nice??? I went back to most of my other stuff just to look at why that could be. I think I had got so used to taking a preset as a start and then modifying rather than working from an init pre...
