Re: Definitive vibrato.
Thanks E...I wondered if anyone had any other method ...I still don't seem to get the "sweet" vibrato I'm looking far. I've used the LFO into Eg controlled VCA and out again to obtain delay and also EG into LFO controller to vary speed and depth (also taking this signal into the filter as ...

Definitive vibrato.
Just add LFO to CV...? I'm routing LFO sine from a 921 into a CP3 then onto the CV control input of the 921a ... I've never been totally happy with this . On You Tube clips, I I sometimes hear a 'human type singing' vibrato on simple waveforms which seem to have quite a depth without sending the bas...

Re: MIDI velocity controlling VCA output.
Many thanks MC...now I recollect seeing this method before..I'm sure this is going to give me what I'm looking for.

MIDI velocity controlling VCA output.
I'm finding that trying to control volume via midi velocity out from midi to CV unit is not very effective. I'm taking a patch lead from the midi velocity out to the input of an attenuator and then another patch lead from attenuators output to the control input of a the VCA. The attenuator is there ...

Re: MOOG 15 emvelope problems
Check your power connections to the 911's and also check the Gate connections both from your keyboard and your 911's ...try shorting the Gate connections at the 911 with a screwdriver to make sure everything there is correct.
If they don't trigger it will be a power connection problem.

Large round trimmer
As a follow up to my first query does anyone have any information on the large silver coloured round trimmers as used on the 904a ?
I think they are still available as I've seen them on recent designs but cannot make out the name or manufacturer .

Re: PCB trimmer/pre-set
I suppose it's a purist thing really, I'm simply trying to get as authentic as possible not only to sound but also to appearance . Having seen genuine Moog circuit boards I'm particularly impressed by vintage parts. For instance I made the mistake of using 1/4 w resistors in my clones when in fact 1...

907 padders
My cloned 907 fixed filter bank has been working fine but has always seemed to deliver half the level of the audio signal out. I treble checked all the circuit and my layouts/components etc and found no discrepancy so the only thing left was to check the "padders" on resistors 2-17 as sugg...

Re: Early touch sensitive module
Thanks for your reply Yes, I see how this can be used to create electronic percussion / attack dependant on time/speed variables. I notice that the touch modules on Carlos system are marked Percussian/Sustain so pertaining to a pianists vocabulary which is now Midi Velocity / Aftertouch. I'm assumin...

Early touch sensitive module
I would like to share some information I gained regarding the clarification of the workings of the Touch Sensitive Keyboard Modules from 1967 onwards. Quote... " The sustain out is a voltage proportional to the key depth. The knob trims the range. Similar to MIDI channel after touch. That volta...

Re: 911 extra capacitor
Thanks for reply.
I did include this capacitor in one of my DIY 911 clones. I cannot tell yet if it's made any change to the 911's behaviour.
