Re: Beatstep pro + Sub 37
I will be building a box using a zener diode regulator, so 0 to +5 Volts will pass, but anything beyond +5 won't. This will allow octaves to stay the same and not fry the S37. I will report back with my findings in the next few weeks.

Re: Midi Light does not turn on - no sound
On my old m-audio board, you had to select to send midi either usb or over din. It was a setup button with a key press.

Re: best Amp (not PA) for slim phatty
I have a cheap rack, with a line mixer, a markbass or vivid amps head (I change them out), and a markbass traveller 112 or vivid cab 12 and a vivid cab 15. The important thing is that all of the above are billed as "bass amplifiers" but they are really just full range amplifiers and speake...

Re: sub37 Editor/Librarian How long also needs to be able to
A couple weeks ago Amos from Moog mentioned on the forum that it should be within 8 weeks. So if this is true, probably mid July - August.

Re: Moog, what's next to develop for the Sub37?...
It's probably fixed in the hardware design but it is a real pity that both VCOs get routed through the mixer and filter sections into a single envelope shaper. It would have been nice for for each VCO to have its own volume envelope. So you could then have a short blip on one VCO followed by a long...

Re: Sub 37 - Keyboard quality and playability
I play all kinds of funk and fusion with my Sub 37, and I personally don't have any issues with the keybed. We'll rip through Spain at 240ish and I don't feel the keys are dragging or have too low of trigger point. I usually play a Nord C2 or Nord Stage, both of which can have real high trigger poin...

Re: Best speaker for sub 37
Get a bass amplifier. Good ones are full range, and aren't as muddy as the Roland 550. The only thing with a bass amp is you'll need a mixer, but if you have more than one keyboard you should have a mixer anyways. I bought an inexpensive one that goes in a rack with my amp. I used a MarkBass head wi...

Re: What's going on with the Minitaur ?
People tend to forget that Moog's aren't built by robots, but by people. I had to wait almost 4 weeks for my Minitaur and 2.5 months for my Sub37. They can't seem to hire enough trained people fast enough to keep up with demand. Which is good thing and a bad thing. Any chance of ordering it from som...

Re: All Your Bass
Wow. Thank you so much
I've been trying to figure out the free demo of the editor, it kicks me out after about 5 min of use, so then it's back to square 1. But your video helps a lot. Also, am I remembering correctly that the mod wheel opens the filter, not pitch bending?

Re: All Your Bass
I tried that, but for whatever reason that patch isn't in the list that's on the editor. I spent some time with the Sub37 and got it pretty close. From what I remember from a couple years ago.

All Your Bass
Hey Little Phatty users,
I have used a LP once, and I loved the patch "All Your Bass."
Could someone (with a little patience) please let me where the knobs are are positioned, so I can plug it into my Sub 37?
Thanks,
Erik
