Re: Filter Knob problem (SUB 37)

I think this was a problem with the early production runs maybe. They can fix it if you send it in...so I imagine new production runs wouldn't have the problem. ...just a guess Thanks subq - does the cut-off on the unit you got back have any movement at all when pressed to the side or upwards or no...

Re: Sub 37 Internal Clock Instability?

I have not really come across any situation where you might attempt to run several sequencers together but all using their own individual clocks - is this what you want/need to do? Thanks for the reply. In response to your parting question "is this what you want to/need to do?" Well, sort...

Re: Filter Knob problem (SUB 37)

I wouldn't call it "wiggly" or "wobbly" so much but it can be moved a little bit, 1mm maybe. I'm sure if I kept pushing it around it would the play would increase - as someone else has stated, you can hear/feel the grease give a little around the shaft if you press upwards/latera...

Re: major bug in 1.0.9p4

Thats too bad! I guess we won't be seeing a February release then with major bugs still to be ironed out. Oh well, on the bright side at least the bugs are being found and there is something to keep looking forwards to Wow! There will be ratcheting function on the sequencer - Bravo Amos!! What about...

Re: Sub 37 Internal Clock Instability?

No discredit to the Sub 37 (because so far this has been an excellent instrument for me) but "thank you" for your reply. I suspect the internal clock rate drift on these instruments is something many musicians are going to overlook because of all the different ways the Arpeggiator and Seq...

Re: Tell us about your rig

I couldn't remember if I had posted to this thread, but I found that I in fact did post here before (page 29 from back in 2009). Since I have moved my studio twice (now in it's final location for a long while), I figured I will post a few pics here again. I use Ableton Live as my master clock, main...

Re: Sub 37 Firmware 1.1 coming - Video demo with Amos

its pretty easy. you just hold the bank button then press the right octave button to scroll to the next set of 16 notes. the left button goes the other way. the only problem is once again there is not any indication of your position in the LCD. i would like more feedback from the LCD esp when chang...

Agreed! Would be nice to be able to switch it between -1 and -2 octaves below the OSC1 also.

Re: Sub 37 Firmware 1.1 coming - Video demo with Amos

well a few emails was definitely worth the effort! this update is an upGRADE. the only thing i see is that after you learn a destination the mod page does not update the parameter information until AFTER you have saved the patch and come back to view the parameter. Other than that the seq is so muc...

Re: Sub 37 Firmware 1.1 coming - Video demo with Amos

Just curious but how much damage could you do to a synth with a firmware update - if you were doing so on purpose for instance? Could it ever go so far as to be irreparable? I'm not suggesting anything by the way... Not damage as such but I went through a few days of a bizarre problem with stuck se...
