Re: Sub 37 editor/librarian and VST plugin

But the lack of an editor is certainly not going to prevent me from using a great instrument ... That's right, Bald Eagle. I also don't need an editor for playing this instrument and having fun creating sound from the scratch. But the lack of things like parameter display or an effective and fast w...

Re: Sub 37 editor/librarian and VST plugin

I'm expecting it to be released at NAMM along with an OS update that includes a few new features. Anyway, a full editor/librarian is coming, so we'll "get it all" soon enough Sorry guys, don't take it too personally. It seems that you are very attached to the company, but I'm tired to hea...

Hi Rene,

I don't want to send the files to you without permission.
But if you write a mail to Stefan Hund of emc, I'm sure he will help you quickly, it's not the first time.

Re: Sub 37, SN, owner, location list

ringokidf, there must be something completely wrong. My first has ser.nr. 18?? and I was the 4th on the list at Music Store. I got it in September 2014. Built date is always handwritten on the factory label at the bottom of the moog. Also, Moog gives 2 years warranty, Thoman itsself gives 3 years. I...

Re: Headphone Output to CV input

This expert sleepers cable has nothing to do with "dc-coupled". "DC-coupled" means, that the connection is able to carry any signal, DC or AC. On the other side, "AC-coupled" means, that any DC-amount of a signal is blocked (by a serial capacitor). The expert sleepers c...

Re: Sub 37 clicks?

Jeffery&wayne , nothing's wrong with your Sub37. Clicks occur when a waveform isn't continuous. With the (vca) envelope you change the level of the signal. With A=0, D=0 and S=0 the signal level will rise from 0 to maximum in a very short time (about 1ms) and goes back to 0 with the same time. T...

Re: Found a little display bug in FW 1.1

I hope you understand me Well, Greg, honestly, no. I know what you are talking about. But I don't see the relation to the bug. There's nothing wrong with the filter cutoff modulation, neither selected by a mod bus nor in conjuction with the dedicated filter mod knob. I would like to know what you (...

Re: Found a little display bug in FW 1.1

Thanks m10k. If Amos knows already, the much the better. ... Also, there's no need for a Cutoff destination because it already has a dedicated knob, right? Thats right. So the bug is really a feature, to quickly assign the modulation to ratchet count? Not a bad idea. But the destination should also ...

Found a little display bug in FW 1.1

When pressing and holding the mod(1 or 2)dest.button and moving the cutoff pot, the modulation submenu shows: "PGM DST: rtcht ct" , instead of "PGM: cutoff" . Btw, "Cutoff" isn't on the PGM DST list. However, increasing the modulation amount, one can hear the filter (cu...

Re: Sub 37 Osc Variance

I think setting a minimum variance other than zero makes no sense - or better: can be achieved already. What does it mean? Settings between 0 and 10c (max) means that the range for the random pitch shift is between 0 and +10, so some notes get no pitch correction. Supposed settings for variance betw...

Exactly the same here with 1.07.
With FW1.1 I had no probs so far.

Re: Best reverb unit for my Sub 37?

I'm happy with the TC HallOfFame, it sounds very good to me and it's handling is as easy as the Sub37 himself.
As a delay (imho indispensable) I use a Korg SDD3000 Pedal between the Sub and the HoF.

cheers,

Re: 1.1.0 is now here!

@ Corgy: Thank you for the hint. I already searched the forum to find Amos' posting and I followed every step he described. This hard reset is working well, but this could also be done by MidiOx sending the first syx file. But ... I poked around on the new Elektron site and managed to find C6 (I fou...

Re: 1.1.0 is now here!

Just to make you aware I finally got the 1.1 on too ... But how did you get it running? My Moog is down, me too. The Auto-Updater cleared the brain and that was it. While installing the new firmware, the display shows "ERROR: Pkt.Cksm". The MIDI-Led was off. I've tried several times (msg ...
