Gap on the left side of the control panel

Hi all, I just received my Sub 37 today and I was wondering whether those of you, who have received a Sub 37 already got an exemplar on which the gap between the wood side and the left side of the control panel is bigger than on the other side, which eventually causes the light from the display to s...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

I hope that means that I'll mine get mine as soon as I return to the States by the end of July (I was in the top ten of preorders). That would make a nice welcome present. I hope you get it too! Christmas in August is now Christmas in July! Yes! I just called my sales assistant and he'll make sure ...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

Wooden side panels helps the elektrons inside the Sub37 circuitry to swing in a more organic way, by creating a woody resonance feedback on quantum level (after the flux compensation theory by Dr. E. Brown, 1985), which is getting injected straight back into the oscillator signal path. Thats why th...

Sorry, I was using the wrong parameter name. Of course I was talking about the Feedback. My fault.

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

One more question: Does the signal of the single oscillators still overdrive a bit if you turn them up fully (like on the Sub Phatty)? I'm asking because I'm curious whether they've added the Drive on top of that. (I guess that implies the question whether the signal of the single oscillators remai...

OK... That sure was specific. I'll try to type concise answers tonight or tomorrow. Ha! Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

Was the sequencer already working? (I mean in conjunction with the 16 preset knobs.)

Did you use the Oscillator's Pitch CVs as modulation sources for the LFOs, and if so, was the effect any different from keytracking?

Re: Sub 37 updated release date: November ?

Other than the product page and those NAMM videos, is there any other info we can learn about it? As the SUB 37 was available for public hands-on playing and questions at Sweetwater's 2014 GearFest, I feel comfortable sharing any information that was available then. What would you like to know? The...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date: November ?

The Sweetwater description now says the following:

"Moog expects the new Sub 37 Tribute Edition analog synthesizer to begin shipping in limited quantities by early July."

Re: Sub 37 updated release date: November ?

On the NAMM it was said "a little over a year." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhOTga2erBc#t=69 No comment about exact numbers. According to the Vintage Synth Explorer site, 1,200 units of the Little Phatty Tribute Edition have been built. So it seems fair to assume that they are going to ...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date: November ?

I've heard from Sweetwater that they are going to get one of the first batches. They also told me that Moog is doing a smaller production run first, which means that they will produce the greater amount of Sub 37s after May (not really surprising). But even if you would preorder one at Sweetwater ri...
