Re: ATTN: experienced DAW and MIDI users! Sub37 sequencer

I will try to give short answers point by point: do you want to play on the physical Sub 37 keys to trigger the arp or sequencer, or do you want to trigger the sequencer in response to MIDI from your DAW or from a different controller? Both. Do you want to record the MIDI output of the sequencer and...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Here is a remix (or rather re-arrangement) of Tara Busch's "Motorcrash". Instruments used: Minitaur, Sub 37, Prophet '08, Evolver, and Volca Beats.

Re: Recording modulation wheel position

Thank you, Petur and Amos. That explains why it didn't quite work the way I wanted. I guess my misconception was that you could record the depth of modulation as controlled by the modwheel, regardless of whether one would use SEQ MOD as a modulation source. To be more specific, this is an example of...

Recording modulation wheel position

In the recently published video about modulation and sequencing, Amos mentioned that the modwheel position can be recorded per step. When I gave it a try, I had no success. Is there any specific way to go about this, or will this rather be a future feature?

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates

Is it still planned to use the preset buttons in conjunction with the sequencer, i.e. as button per step?

Re: Gap on the left side of the control panel

Wow, seriously, guys? The Sub 37 is a much better design than my old Little Phatty was...every other key was a couple mm off when I got it. The side panels were plastic until I replaced them with wood, and the plastic was really cheap. The wheels were never all that tight, either. The Sub 37 is the...

Re: Gap on the left side of the control panel

I'm currently waiting for Sweetwater and/or Moog to get back to me about the issues. On top of what I described already, I experienced a few quirks when operating the Sub 37. Sometimes, when I switched from preset to panel, the oscillators sounded as if they were set to 2' although they were set to ...

Re: Gap on the left side of the control panel

I've got the same issue. The gap is only at the top, the lower section of the panel looks fine. I think that is just the impression one gets from the light coming through at the top. I thought so too, but that would have meant that the panel plate was not cut in a square angle on both sides, which ...

Re: Gap on the left side of the control panel

The wood is alright. It just seems that the width of the panel is a bit too short for the chassis to be entirely closed. Ideally, the aluminium bar at the top would have to be totally covered. What makes it obvious on the left side is of course the light of the display.
