Re: SLOP

The phatties oscillators are pretty stable, at least the SubP is so you don't get the drift like older synths. I can see some situations where slop would be useful.

Re: Sub Phatty Editor - beta test feeedback

I have not lost a connection yet. I'm using a powered hub. IOGEAR SuperSpeed USB 3.0 4-Port Hub.

Re: Sub Phatty Hum

ground loops are so easy to get, especially if using USB, and or powered speakers, and or a computer audio interface... perhaps all of the above! all it takes is two paths to ground for your audio signal to get hum. my point is just that "maybe the synth is wired backward" is probably the...

Re: Sub Phatty Hum

Just for a final update ... I have moved the SubP to its final resting place. I have a surge protector coming from the wall. Its on a dedicated circuit. There is an M3, an ink jet printer and of course the SubP plugged in to the surge protector. I still get hum. With the Hum Eliminator device Its pe...

Saving banks still uses file names like 4-4.syx but they are in their own folders so Don't know if this is the intended behavior.

Re: Sub Phatty Hum

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I have a solution that seems to solve my hum problem although I suppose it's really just masking it rather than properly correcting it at the source. First I'll say a little more about my configuration. There is a double outlet on the wall on its own circuit from...

Sub Phatty Hum

I'm getting a fairly loud hum from the Sub Phatty audio output jack. I have tried connecting to a Motu 896, a Korg M3 and directly to a powered monitor and still get the hum. I get the hum even when the Sub Phatty is powered off. The hum stops when i disconnect the power cord. The headphones are per...

Re: Which 2 Tier Stand for Sub Phatty & oxygen 61?

I've been looking for something too. I have a two tier On-Stage stand already and am considering another one. The width is adjustable down to 21 inches but that could be cutting it close with the Sub Phatty being 21.5. Maybe using a board across the tier would help. m Also considering this one. The ...

Re: Sub Phatty Editor - beta test feeedback

I think the last update email sent with a subject line of "Sub Phatty Editor - latest files here (0.9.3)" has a bad link. If you click on the Windows editor link it downloads Moog_Sub_Phatty_Editor_093-OSX.zip. But you can manually copy the text into a browser and get the file at m. But ru...

Re: Biggest Pipe Organ in the World (7 manuals)...

Being anchored to the ground would certainly be safer but I don't recall hearing of any accidents with its current configuration. In any case I think the sonic qualities from hanging objects is superior to those mounted in the floor (at least with rocks and caves).

I have seen it several times. An excellent film. I always enjoy watching something about a visionary like Bob Moog who gave so much to our world of musical expression.

Thanks for that tip. It does in fact perform a very fine adjustment.

Not a traditional type of pipe organ but certainly the biggest and most awesome.

Stalacpipe Organ

The stalactites are the "pipes".
