Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
Hi Dan, Thanks for starting this thread. I was going to do it yesterday, but figured you'd get round to it eventually. I won't have mine until Wednesday, so for the most part I will wait until I dig in. But just to make sure a couple of things don't get lost .... 1) Ability to have a fixed per voice...

Re: New Moog Website Design
I don't need a product website to be an artistic experience, I need it to provide information. What little information there is is completely obscured by a rube goldbergian contrarian approach to site navigation. For example, I subscribed to the notice for live feeds. I've only received notice AFTER...

Re: Moog One Answers
However watch the first sound design livestream for an excellent example of using filter tracking with both filters to create what sounds like a split from a single part. Yeah, this is what I meant about cheater methods to achieve pseudo multitimbrality. I'm really looking forward to hear what some...

Re: Moog One Answers
Although Dan would know for sure, from what I've seen of the architecture the answer would be no. It's 3 "sounds".hendrkf wrote:You read correctly. I was essentially defining a 9 synth sound (3 layers, each layer with a 3 synth patch, each layer getting a 5 voice allocation) . Would this be possible?

Re: Moog One Answers
Can you have multiple layers (each one with different tri-timbral synth patches) active at once? e.g. On a 16 voice Moog One, have three different layers, each with three different synth patches), each layer assigned to 5 voices. that's a little hard to read, but that sounds like requesting a 9 syn...

Mono/legato gate. Some uses with this triggering env 3: 1) model Hammond organ percussion 2) model Yamaha CS60/80 ring-mod envelope Related to this: trigger envelope on key up: 1) Clavinet sticky pad sound 2) Harpsichord key-up jack sound David I was going to say release velocity. But a simple key ...

excellent ... slew/lag is one of the questions we asked during one of the deep dives. Good to hear it's coming for sure.

Re: Moog One Answers
Hi Dan, thanks a million for the deep dives and extra info. I have my 16v on order and am ordering supporting gear, cables, pedals etc. It is clearly stated that the Main Outs are balanced. But, it seems like the sub out may be just TS? Can you confirm if the sub outs are balanced or not? Cheers!

Re: Moog One ?
yeah, the site is a total user experience miss. I mean just to get to this page I had to click in the upper right to expose a list on the left. Then vertical text? WTF? That is just terrible from a user perspective.ummagumma wrote:Moog's new website is terrible, I can't even get it to load

Re: Prototype Golden Anniversary M32
lol, it won't stay on there. This was just havin a bit of fun... I actually have a black one that size that I will put on there. To me, it makes it much easier to find the controls when you work out from the cutoff knob.

I was liking the idea of getting the cutoff knob to stand out a bit ... and remembered a certain knob in the collection. What do you think?

Used an arp and just fiddled around with a patch that uses the Saw Out sent back to the audio In so I could Morph and blend between the two wave forms. The rest is just wigglin the various knobs around.

By the way, I believe if you got really fancy with your patching you could get a high pass/low pass combination.
