Re: Talk me into keeping my MF104M

Analog delays aren't for everybody. Fortunately, there are tons of delays on the market and 99% of them are cheaper than an MF-104M. Perhaps try digital or a tape modeling delay? Digital if you want exact repeats. Tape of you want repeats that lose a little low end and have a subtle chorus-like warb...

Re: Moog/Realistic MG-1 Mod Guide

Here's a quick drawing. The two 120K resistors are already on the PCB. You just need to add the wires from one side of R28 and R2 to the center poles of the switch. Then wire the 169K resistors from the top pins to the other sides of R28 and R2. There are some switches that are laid out differently....

Re: Moog/Realistic MG-1 Mod Guide

I never ended up putting a switch in mine, so I didn't draw it up. You could use a dpst or dpdt switch to put 169k resistors in parrallel with the 120k resistors that are there. That would give you 70k when the resistors are in the circuit or back to stock 120k when they are out. Take a shot at draw...

Re: Fuzz Guitar through CP-251 Lag Processor

I forgot to mention that the more you add to the rise time, the lower the volume output gets. So it will need to be compensated for.

FS/FT: Modded Moog MG-1 and Arp Omni MkI for Sub 37

Well, the time has come for me to start playing shows with a synth. I need something that can call up presets with midi to make things easier on me since I also play guitar and sing. So I'm selling my modded Moog MG-1 and an Arp Omni MkI. It will be a couple days before I can get pictures. I'd much ...

Fuzz Guitar through CP-251 Lag Processor

I decided to try audio through the CP-251's lag processor section. I'm sure this is nothing new to most, but I never thought of it until now. My idea was to try a Big Muff through it to see if I could smooth it out. And it kinda worked. I know it works better for LFOs, but it still had an effect on ...

Re: MF 108M LFO problem?

If you follow the midi firmware update, it will reset everything back to factory settings. It's located in the download tab in the product page for the Clusterflux: m Moog's support through email is not very good. I've had to contact them a few times and rarely received a response. However, they wer...

Re: MF 108M LFO problem?

Depending on your settings, this could be normal. If you have it setup like a flanger with some feedback, you can absolutely hear it. The controls on the Clusterflux can easily go to the extreme. Try some standard settings in the manual and see if it's still very audible. If so, your best approach w...

The midi series pedals are all SMD components. I think the chips are on the other side of the PCB. Facing upward.

Re: CV line selector for pedalboard?

The only time you need a TRS connection is when using a passive device to attenuate the CV. Like an expression pedal or anything that's just using a pot. The CP-251 generates its own CV, so you don't really need TRS while interfacing it with your Moogerfoogers.

Re: MF-104M Preset Switching via Midi Controller Questions

You can also use the Molten Voltage Osmosis. It can send out 16 CC's at once. It's great for one or two pedals or basic control. The problem is, if you have multiple midi Moogerfoogers (I have 3) and you want the Simi display screen, it adds up. That would be $550 for 3 Osmosis's and a Simi. Add a m...

Re: Is it just me, or is my MF-104m behaving like a LPFilter

I'm not really sure what the problem you're having with the LFO is. Just turn the Amount to zero and it has no affect on the delay. As far as the lpf you're hearing. Is it only on the repeats or does it happen on everything? When the delay time switch is set to long, it does put a lpf on the repeats...

Re: MF-104M Preset Switching via Midi Controller Questions

Just ordered the Mastermind PBC last week. Really excited to get it! Ron will include the Moogerfoogers as devices in the next update to make it easier to program the macros. Each macro can send out 32 midi actions. Each preset can send 20 actions (including macros). So, it looks like we finally hav...

Re: Foogers in and output current?

Is it coming from the audio in/out? Or the CV in/outs? There shouldn't be any DC voltage on the audio path. The other connections send +5V on the ring of a TRS. This is so you can use a passive device (like an expression pedal) to control the moogerfooger. The +5V goes into the pot inside an express...
