Hi Sabbathian,
Can you post your characteristics on the Sub 37 SN thread, so we can have a better statistical understanding of the problem(s) one can excpect from the Sub37?
Many thanks,
Greg

Re: Sub 37, SN, owner, location list
@jabberwalky: can I interpret your sentence as such: History: No problem at all? Can you find the build date (sticker on the bottom of the synth). You place and date of purchase would be interesting too. @ squidfood, I enter both synth in the record just to track down the problems. Thanks both for y...

Re: Sub 37, SN, owner, location list
Hi Andy, I do maintain a very crude and simple text document based on all the answers, that is the origin to feed the first post of this thread. I'll continue to maintain this the most up to date I can. If sadly one day I'll decide to stop doing this, I'll let the forum know and I'll transfer the fi...

Markus,
please try and search for Andy direct address at Moog. He is the guy for all support and problems related stuff. Search here in the forum, Ha has put his refs a couple of times in other similar threads.
Keep faith, the Sub37 is amazing .

Re: Moog Sub 37 noise floor
Please, can you both contribute to the Sub37 SN thread, just to help track down the main problems the Sub37 can be subject to vs SN? I'll check mine for noise, but in my current configuration (Sub37 > MF-104m > Strymon BigSky > Edirol UA-5 > Yamaha HS7) I didn't noticed a rise of noise floor when up...

Re: wood panel on the top left hand side not sitting flush
I just checked mine, and indeed, there is a slight mismatch, around a millimeter or less. No light from the screen goes out though. Maybe at some point Moog began installing that screenlight blocking stuff. I don't imagine dismantling all the thing just to sand down one millimeter off the aluminium ...

Re: Sub 37 - Cutoff wigging out around 320Hz
Thanks Pedro, Yes, it is indeed very interesting to have your contribution to that topic in order to track down if the problem is random/linked to a certain series/appearing with time and so on. I think the panel pcb has to be changed in order to have the cutoff filter potentiometer replaced by a st...

I vote too for parameter display first in the next firmware.
Librarian/editor is on its way, no need to ask again and again, Moog is on it already.

Great to hear it .
I was stuck several times wondering why on Earth that Mod1 was not working, then I found out.
Hope it helped.

Re: Sub37 MOD 1 not working in PANEL mode?
Did you check in Mod1 controllers Menu what is the Mod Wheel setting? Usually, it's 100%, hence if the mod wheel is set at its minimum level, the Mod1 has no effect at all. If you don't want the mod wheel position to have any effect, and the mod section just to work as the MOD2 does, you need to put...

Re: Headphones for Sub 37?
I use the MDR-7506 for practically everything. Sometimes, I switch to Grados SR325i, just for fun, but these are much less comfortable than the Sony. Grados are great for casual listening, but aren't very precise in terms of balance. They are livier and much more involving, but less precise than the...
