Doesn't sound like there is enough voltage to sweep the entire spectrum. Looks like I will have to use midi for those times when I want a open spectrum.
Thanks all for the tips!

little confused about filter modulation
Hi All, Ive been playing with the CP-251 to perform filter sweeps, but it only seems to affect a particular bandwidth depending on where the filter knob is currently positioned. So for example, if I have the filter set to the [1k]. My sweep seems to span [250, 2k ] rather than the entire spectrum [2...

Re: MF104M analog delay for sale
I don't understand why people come on here trying to sell things. Esp. when they have very few postings. Are there people gullible enough to send money to a complete strangers without the recourse that sites like eBay offer?

"CZ" wouldn't be Charlie Zayleski would it? The "CZ" is from the Casio line of CZ synthesizers, like the very portable CZ-101. I've been known to "Ride" around with my CZ for portable synth fun. http://mysite.verizon.net/vze6s1hi/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/...

Re: harmonizer? (eventide pitchfactor)
Yes, I have a Voyager and a PitchFactor. It´s a great couple, I recommend getting one. Especially because it´s not only about harmonizing. One PitchFactor effect I really dig at the moment is the Harmodulator... you can get crazy arpeggiated modulation out of it. The chorus effects are also great. ...

Looks like you found a failry simple solution though!!
Yeah, you'd be surprised how innovative you can get when you run out of room for additional gear.

Re: harmonizer? (eventide pitchfactor)
yeah that would work great,
You prob already know this but you can create chords on the moog. Just tune each oscillator to a different pitch.

Re: Anyone using analog sequencers?
I've been reading up on Voyager CV interfacing with non-Moog gear. Apparently you might get a different pitch from what you expected because the Voyager uses 0.93 V/octave in its CV jacks. Yeah, it def doesn't line up to my other analog synths. Not sure why moog did that. On a side note, seems like...

Re: CP-251 adapter placement
From page 6 of the owner's manual: "Plug the power adapter’s cord into either power receptacle on the CP251 (There is a power receptacle on the back panel, below the moogerfooger trademark, and another receptacle on the CP251’s bottom panel.)" I must have an old one or something. Page 6 o...

Re: CP-251 adapter placement
Ok, Looks like there is a somewhat easy remedy to this. I opened up the 251 and realized I could rig it. Here are some pics and instructions. 1. Unmount fooger from rack-mount. 2. Using needle nose pliers, unscrew the power input http://www.neocenturymedia.com/external_files/moog/1.JPG 3. (optional)...

CP-251 adapter placement
Why would moog put the adapter plug at the top of the cp251? That just screwed me out of being able to install a new piece of gear in my rack. Never even occurred to me that I would have that problem. The plug doesn't even fully sit in the cp251. arggg
