Re: No more Moogfest.

We had an amazing trip to Moogfest this year, our first ~ loved the panel you moderated with Herb Deutsch, Mark! Thank you for that. The panels, the MOOG factory and the BMF events were the top highlights for me. Morton Subotnick and his Buchla too ~ that whole Diana theatre venue was really great! ...

What comes with a new Taurus 3? ~ ♥ LOVE ƒor T3 ♥

What comes in the box with a new T3? Should there be a printed manual or a CD? The original owner said he 'couldn't remember— but will look around and send it to me if he finds it' I just got the instrument in the original box with styrofoam ~ no documents, or anything else. ... but omg ♥ ♥ ♥ WOW! ♥...

YES ~ very musical indeed!!! Thanks for this reply ~ and everybody who encouraged me~ I scored the T3 today and immediately started recording a few 'live' tracks with it and posted them to SoundCloud here: https://soundcloud.com/misterpete/the-new-wild-bull and here: https://soundcloud.com/misterpet...

Re: Slim Phatty control Voyager arp

YES! Easy. Just turn "SEND MIDI NOTES" ON on the SP If you want to send just notes and not CCs- turn "SEND MIDI CCs" OFF. Turning off local control on the Voyager isn't necessary. Why did you want to do that? First, is it possible to use a Slim Phatty's arpeggiator to drive the V...

Re: Balanced or unbalanced outputs

I would imagine each location and individual A/C power setup has an impact too. For what it's worth, in my recording studio ~ the Voyagers sound very clean either way using one or two (mono or stereo outs) balanced or unbalanced (going into RME FireFace) ~ however a balanced cable make a VERY big di...

Re: Little Phatty vs. Voyager

A Phatty isn't exactly a "scaled-back Voyager" ~ they're very different in many ways; different sound; different (overdrive) filter; an arpeggiator; and a very different interface. The Slim might be a better option for you if you want to save some money and use your Voyager or another cont...

Re: Little Phatty vs. Taurus Arpeggiator?

Thanks Marty ~ I have the SLIM and use the arp a lot with and without audio. Apparently there are quite a few differences. I don't think it can be used as a sequencer in the same way that the T3 can ~ as far as I know you actually have to hold down all the notes of a chord simultaneously on the Phat...

Re: Little Phatty vs. Taurus Arpeggiator?

Hmmm... Thanks! I have plenty of short/long/medium cables  but not sure I understand why you would have to use the T3 as a controller to make use of CV outs ~ e.g. I can access CV outs from the Voyagers and MoogerFoogers without having to use them as MIDI controller ~ but perhaps I'm taking the...

Re: Minitaur Editor Software ported to Taurus 3

For what it's worth, I got a refund on the Rekon phatty editor because it did not work for me at all except to make me frustrated and angry  though strangely enough when Amos sent me a beta of it before Rekon released it ~ that beta actually did work ~ despite it crashing quite a bit. How crazy...

Re: problems with the moog online shop

I would double check that eMail address extra carefully and try using the telephone if I were you, because what you're saying doesn't add up! :? I'm another user who has had nothing less than superb customer service from Moog. Tech Support by telephone and eMail has always been completely courteous ...
