A Phatty isn't exactly a "scaled-back Voyager" ~ they're very different in many ways; different sound; different (overdrive) filter; an arpeggiator; and a very different interface. The Slim might be a better option for you if you want to save some money and use your Voyager or another cont...

Thanks Marty ~ I have the SLIM and use the arp a lot with and without audio. Apparently there are quite a few differences. I don't think it can be used as a sequencer in the same way that the T3 can ~ as far as I know you actually have to hold down all the notes of a chord simultaneously on the Phat...

For what it's worth, I got a refund on the Rekon phatty editor because it did not work for me at all except to make me frustrated and angry :cry: though strangely enough when Amos sent me a beta of it before Rekon released it ~ that beta actually did work ~ despite it crashing quite a bit. How crazy...
