Well, the resistance is perfect for me. They move a bit if you don't go easy on them, indeed.
All in all, I like them.

Re: Studio Electronics se-1(X), Slim Phatty or other?

Hi Tek_uk, welcome to the forum :) I do not know anything about the SE-1X soundwise, I just saw on pictures that it had 3 LFO and 4 envelope generators as well as 3 oscillators with selectable waveforms (vs. 1 LFO, 2 EGs, 2 oscillators with continuously variable waveforms for the Phatty). But you mu...

Re: Sound only on 5th key press!

Not sure what instrument you are talking about, but this could be a polychain setting "n of 5" ;)

Not sure the potentiometer is th culprit because it controls the volume in both main output and headphone output.

Or... I guess there is some clue in the information displayed during the starting sequence.

Re: MF-104 PROBLEM

Do you power it with the original PSU?
Do you power it along with others FX units or instruments on a power-strip?

If so, consider testing to power it alone. I had this kind of anoying noises when I used several MFs on a power-strip.

Re: where is everybody?

Still around... but I play older models -Little Phatty, VOS, MoogerFoogers- and those are of less interest now.
Not sure the newer models topics are attracting less than before.

Re: MF-104 Ext. Loop vs. Before or After

Seems correct :)

I've used a 104Z and then a 104M over the years and I was first disappointed by the fact the Z won't affect the first echo when using the external loop. 104M (and I guess the 104MSD) had this implemented in a way that makes way more sense to me.

Re: Single voice Moog One model

It's not that simple.
Just one point that makes it different: the Eur4699 cover R&D for The One but R&D for the "Son of the one" would be much lighter, hence cheaper.
