Re: Latest, Greatest Minitaur Editor - Get It Here

Hi Amos... Howdy. So I can't get the new Minitaur Editor's "Capture" feature to work? This is the Editor's download file name: 1_7_2012_OSX However... I can change the sound of my Minitaur with it... and access the Under the Hood stuff... but it just can't "see" the front panel Controls... which is ...

Re: "Under The Hood" System Settings NOT Saveable???

Hi Amos... Thanks. Yes... great news that the Minitaur OS will soon be able to "Save in Synth"... the Editor's "Under the Hood" settings! :) Actually... the Nord "Micro Modular" I mentioned before... could also be a good OS "model" for the Minitaur... as it similarly... also has an mac/pc Editor for...

"Under The Hood" System Settings NOT Saveable???

Just got my new Minitaur... and totally love it's Huge, warm, sweet BIG Bottom sound... just like my old Minimoog D!!! It took me about 2 seconds to dial up my fav Moog Bass sound with the Knobs! It's very quick warm up time... is also really great! :) However... the Minitaur's Editor... "Under The ...

Re: Possible New AutoTune Method for the Phattys?

Hey Amos... Thanks for your reply. I've just been leaving my SP in AutoTune (AT) mode... so when I power it up... AT is already ON! Then I immediately play it a "C" note to tune to. AT's first reading says 57.41 and then takes only about 5 minutes for it to read 60.00. However... even when AT first ...

Re: Possible New AutoTune Method for the Phattys?

Hey Amos...

Howdy. OK... only "ark" got an answer here?

Does this mean there is no real merit to my above... AutoTune revamp proposal then?
Many thanks.

Cheers,
Brian

Possible New AutoTune Method for the Phattys?

Hey Amos... Howdy. I am wondering if there is another way to implement AutoTune (AT) on all the Phattys? Right now... with AT On... and when a Phatty is Powered ON... AT attempts to tune to whatever the last Midi Note it was sent. However... AT seems to wait for the Phatty's Oscillators to warm up t...

Re: SP Oscillator 2 taking forever to warm up...

[quote="Briman"] - I did a warm up test... with a Boss TU-12H digital tuner plugged in to the main Audio Out. - From Power up... to the point where OSC 1 comes "UP" to pitch... and stays there... takes exactly 45 Minutes on my SP!? - This result from using the Calibration preset (OSC 1 only) and the...

Re: Saveable PWM Bass Sounds on Slim Phatty?

Hey Amos... Sorry for my reply delay. YES!!! It does now work with OS 3.1 !!! Many thanks for making it so! :) One thing to note though... after you set up your PWM Patch and save it... when you go to another Patch... the LFO "AMOUNT" is left still "flashing"... so you have to press and hold it agai...

Re: SP Oscillator 2 taking forever to warm up...

Hey Amos...

My SP Serial is: 00966

As in my previous post... this SP has an overal warm up time of 2 hours!

It also has a very flakey VALUE encoder!

Thanks also...
Cheers,
Brian :)

Re: SP Oscillator 2 taking forever to warm up...

Hey Seank... I too am quite unhappy with the Slim Phatty's overall warm up time. I thought it would be much better than it is... tuning wise! - I did a warm up test... with a Boss TU-12H digital tuner plugged in to the main Audio Out. - From Powerup... to the point where OSC 1 comes "UP" to pitch......

Re: Slim Phatty Volume boosts @ sequence record (FF400 - MPC

Howdy... As far as I can tell... the SP's Output Volume Knob controls it's MIDI Volume level... NOT it's actual Audio Volume level! So if you have the SP's Output Volume Knob set to say... 12 o'clock... then... if it happens to receive any MIDI Volume (CC7) Command... the SP's actual Audio Output Vo...

Hey Amos... Howdy. Just wondeing if you have had a thought about my recent post: "Saveable PWM Bass Sounds on Slim Phatty?"... before the final 3.1 Update and Official Release? Also... one more request: - Is it possible to add + - 24 to the Pitch Bend Values... in the Advanced Preset? Many thanks! C...

Saveable PWM Bass Sounds on Slim Phatty?

Hey Amos... Thanks for all your hard work... in Beta Programming the upcoming Official 3.1 OS release! Here's another scenario for Ya: I have always loved PWM Bass sounds... as well as "detuned" Bass sounds! When I program a PWM sound on my new SP (latest build 660)... by selecting Source "TRI" ... ...

Re: SP Precision Mode Wave Values = Minimoog D's Original Wa

Hi Guys... Thanks for your feedback and ideas. btw: Nicola... I wasn't able to get your suggested "free oscilloscope plugin" for mac to work? No install info? So for now... with no access to a real Minimoog D... here's what I did: I have a demo copy of "minimonsta"... so I opened that up... and just...
