Re: moog voyager + fractal audio axefx ultra

If you take the amp/cab sims out of the equation I wonder how axe-fx ultra compares to the Eventide Eclipse?

Sounds great in your demos - keep 'em coming!

Agreed, thanks for these Thomas! Entertaining and informative... despite the sometimes shaky video.

Re: Voager RME and VX351 / VX352

I don't think the dealer is correct. I use the VX-352 with a CP-251, but I don't know why you couldn't use the 351 and 352 together to, for instance, route the LFO to multiple targets.

Re: Bugs in the Voyager Editor

Haven't tried the editor yet myself, but I wondered what the patch mutation/breeding facilities were like to use - any thoughts?

The only thing that troubles me about that setup is the lack of aftertouch on the LP. I suppose it depends on your playing style but I like to use aftertouch.

I'd love to hear some audio of what you're doing if you get a chance.

Right now I've got the 102 and 104Z. The 103 and 107 are definitely on my radar, but none of the MURF demos I've seen/heard has done much for me.

polyslax- you think you'd rather have a voyager keyboard now? Hey shark, no, definitely not. I have one keyboard synth, a Virus TI, and that's fine for me. Working with limited space, and I want my one keyboard to be 5 octaves. As long as you have a decent keyboard to run the Moog I'd recommend the...

someone with an RME will have to confirm that a midi keyboard controller w/pitch and mod wheels generates CV at the VX-351 for keyboard pitch, gate, pitch bend and mod wheels... This will work. Sometimes I use my RME as a sort of very expensive MIDI to CV converter to control my small Doepfer modul...

So, using it with the RME though, I'm assuming I don't get cv out for the wheels, keyboard and touch screen. Would that be correct? touch screen, no. someone with an RME will have to confirm that a midi keyboard controller w/pitch and mod wheels generates CV at the VX-351 for keyboard pitch, gate, ...

Voyager RME With VX-351 - The Definitive Answer

Hi there! Glad to be aboard the Moog train since about a week now*, and it's been a pleasure learning as much as I can from the excellent posts around here. There's one question that still boggles my mind though, and from my searches I haven't been able to find the answer. When you plug a VX-351 int...
