Re: Patch for ELP's "From the Beginning" for the Voyag

OK, try this out. I checked out the factory patch, don't think it is that near - good sound though. Glide = ON Glide Rate = 4.5 (position) Mod Wheel Bus Source-OSC 3 Destination-OSC 2 Shaping- Amount-2 (position) Wheel- to taste (about 1/4 seems good today) Osc 1 - Osc 2 - Octave = 2' - Wave = 0(pos...

Re: Patch for ELP's "From the Beginning" for the Voyag

Hey just to add my bit I happened to hear the song recently and was thinking about how to create that sound. I think the above patches come close but, I was thinking that the lower pitched VCO was modulating the VCF that the high pitched VCO was feeding. I remember it as a tone like when you whistle...

Re: 3 way switch emulation

OK, I've looked up some info on the Jamman. The switches are normally open, momentary, close to ground. To preserve the independant switch functions you would need a pair of diodes - one from the tip to diode anode and the the second from the ring to diode anode and then the two diode cathodes tied ...

Re: 3 way switch emulation

Well, the short answer would be no I don't think so - at least not without additional circuitry. In looking at the switch diagram, it appears that the (Down) selection happens by shorting the jack ring to the sleeve (I'm assuming there is a V supplied by the source on the tip & ring. It might be...

Re: Expression Pedal Splitting

Hey Pantherairsoft, It would work, you would not see a V drop (that would happen if there were resistors in the circuit and you created a divider). This is the same as using a multiple to send a V to more than one input. As long as you do not exceed the current draw of the V source you would have (0...

Re: V 2.1

OK, all is well I was about to do a reinstall of the update to fix the above problem. In checking things I found that some preset locations responded correctly (90's series) and others not (10's) (these are just the ranges I happened to look at). I had not reloaded any presets, being as I just had t...

V 2.1

Hello All, I've recently bought an MP-201 (using it with a Voyager EB, and on the floor). I updated to V 2.1 last night as the LFO initial state had issues (not always returning to the set value and the FS would turn off the channel upon an FS3 switch depress but the on function was happening upon t...

Yeah, It was a bit dodgy at best, very poor tuning - not just in terms of pitch, but scale also. I did some unintended microtonal stuff sometimes! It was before my electronics days. Also had a Minimoog with a second OSC card that I made modular. The 2nd card was all transistor and the card in the mi...

Hey Eric

It's been awhile since I've used it. I'm mostly virtual now. Timewarp2600, Minimonsta, etc. But, I remember it had a sound I liked. And yeah it's a 905, my bad! I remember the P/S was something like +6 and -12. I could set my own up. I need to confirm the V's and pin-out

905 reverb

I was wondering if anyone knows the curent value for a R.A. Moog 905 Reverb Module. I aquired it back in '82. with a IIc. I sold the IIc, but kept the reverb. It is from '68 or '69, totally clean and was functioning. I am looking for the schematic so I can power it up.
Thanks
