Check out the new Minifooger MF Boost Pedal. It has Expression (CV) control over gain. You'll need some other Envelope Generators though..

Re: Discontinuation of the Moog Little Phatty

I personally don't mind the discontinuation, as long as repairs are still available - I currently need a couple (my pitch wheel is applying an unstable pitch at some locations, and the preset knob could use some reinforcement). I guess the Sub Phatty started competing with the Little Phatty and quit...

Re: Slim phatty PASS-THRU mode problem

I uploaded short video to show the problem : m I use Ableton 9.0.4 , Windows 7 64 bit . During the video the Local Control is ON . I use USB midi ( I dont have DIN cables ) 1:25 - I change the button to off and it makes the PASS THRU mode work fine but this way I cant record automations with the Sl...

Re: Slim phatty PASS-THRU mode problem

How are the offending parameters behaving exactly? Do all of the other parameters work as expected? In the System Utilities Menu, there are various factory reset options which may be worth a shot. I believe you have the latest firmware, so that's probably not the problem (although if some other fixe...

Re: Slim phatty's body heat up very fast ....?!

From the sound of things, it's normal. The Slim Phatty's circuits heat up to get in tune and I've been told officially that it's normal for the Slim Phatty to be warm to touch.

I have two Slim Phattys and they are both warm to touch after they warm up/tune.

Re: Whats wrong with Slim and midi ?

Damn, that sounds frustrating :( . If I was you I'd talk to Moog Support - if that fails to help then I'd take it back.
That's just me though.

Re: Whats wrong with Slim and midi ?

Regarding the strange characters displayed on the Slim Phatty's screen & preset numbers only changing - I have had this problem a few times (and perhaps your whole ordeal), and I believe I was able to fix it by re-sending the saved patches to the unit (easy for me as I have two other phattys cha...

Re: Amos: LP/Slim Firmware Suggestions

hello, here are my suggestions for sub phatty options: 1. I'd like the option to bypass mod.wheel so that PWM, pitch or filter can be modulated independent of the wheel position. 2. mod.wheel controls filter cutoff instead of filter mod.depth. 3. pitch bend on/off for osc 1 & 2. 4. hold note wh...

Re: FreqBox as a cv recorder

Add a bandpass filter after the drum machine.. you'll be able to "tune" to selected frequencies (Kik, Snare, Hat).. your in Sherman restyler territory now... Ah of course! Now I just need a filter that isn't a Moog Low Pass! Although in the mean time I'll experiment with using various EQ'...

Re: FreqBox as a cv recorder

This is quite similar - I've recently been using the Freqbox for a side-chain compression sound. Here's how: Drum Machine (in my case a Korg Kaoss Pad KP3) into input of Freqbox, Output running into mixer/speakers. Freqbox mix set to fully anti-clockwise (left). Env. Out to CP-251 CV Mixer. CV Mixer...

Just managed to grab one of these, locally here in New Zealand. It should fit in well for controlling my, now quite large, range of Moog gear.. :D

Can't wait until it arrives!
