Most probably I think partly to be 'old school modular style' - as it's a 40th anniversary Voyager model, and partly to keep the Electric Blue/Select Series as something special in their own right.

No, but I will now!

Cheers for the idea.. I'm definitely going to run it as a sub osc with my Voyager XL. 8)

Re: Voyager XL white - backlit??

I'm pretty sure all Voyager XL's are not backlit. The only backlit models are Electric Blue and Select Series Voyagers..

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

OK, so despite my recent (large) purchases, I still managed to buy something else that popped up second hand.. A discontinued (pretty rare here) Roland GI-20, for a good price: http://www.alltime.ru/obj/catalog/music/processor/roland/img/big/GI-20.jpg I've been looking out for one of these for a whi...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Thanks David! In addition to the obvious Moogs, there's one more bit of Moogishness hidden in the photo. Barely visible, but probably impossible to identify. Here's a hint....think "Bell Tone". Euro That must be an MG-1 on the floor under the Minimoog then ? Tidda Ah yes, that would make ...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Hey all! My first post! Looks like a fun and informative forum! The Mem is the new guy in this pic. But I also had to include some of the Mem's new friends, and of course the mighty studio dogs (during a rare moment of "off-couch" activity)! Euro http://i61.tinypic.com/dze3v9.jpg Welcome ...

Re: Little Phatty practical Poly count

Hey, I'm pretty sure I've recently seen that Moog themselves have a stack of Slim Phattys - like 10 or so, in a big 19" rack. Maybe I saw it in one of the recent Moog Soundlab videos? EDIT: This is what I was talking about (a rack of 9 Slim Phattys): m I've always thought that you could chain u...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Some nice purchases here!! I haven't updated my purchases in a while so now I've got quite a hoard to report! A few months ago I got a pair of these KRK Rokit 6" Studio Monitors, with stands: http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/product/37567-krk-rokit-powered-6-g2-pair-large.jpg About a mo...

Re: Parallell Voyagering!

i actually do this also. in series, you can get some pretty nauseating (in a GREAT way) chorus/flange/vibrato sounds. if i could afford it i would actually buy more...i cant wait to get them synced up to ableton via midi Awesome! I can't wait to try out these ideas when I get my second delay next w...

Re: Parallell Voyagering!

Good news! I got my audio interface's stereo signal panning correctly sorted, using Ableton to monitor the inputs (software is required for panning with my model interface).. I just got a second 104m to use with the stereo out of the voyager. I have the left out going to 104A and the right out going...

Re: New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes

Sorry I've been away from the computer for a bit, but I managed to get the new firmware installed into the MF-104M! Instead of trying to use my USB-MIDI DIN cable with no luck, I decided to try the MIDI Merge idea (similar to radioland's use of the Sub Phatty above), using one of my other Moog devic...

Also, a lag processor would work well for this application, to slope/slow the attack like an envelope generator, as Vsyevolod mentioned above.
