Re: Which moogerfooger should I get?

Ring mod if it will be your only Fooger. But definitely get a delay of some sort to go with it. There are so many really good delays for half the money of a 104 and no ring mods that rival the Fooger version at any price. This from a guy with 1 CP251, 1 FILTER, 2 PHASER, 2 RING MOD, 1 DELAY, 1 MuRF ...

Re: My Voyager has no problem.

Mine is a very early one. It has been home twice for upgrades over the years ( before it was mine ) the next upgrade is capable of field fitment and I will probably do it at some time. Everything has worked as expected everytime I have used it with the exception of the foolishness of the scaling out...

Re: looking for a Psionic Soundworks Walking Stick

I've been studying the Appendage schematics trying to isolate the t/h and a couple other features to small up the build and use with my existing Walking Stick. Along the same lines, I should have a pair of 1MU joysticks done this weekend.

Re: looking for a Psionic Soundworks Walking Stick

To me, T/H is the most important feature a ribbon can have. Saves a ton of ancillary patching and modules. Also allows for long release times.

Re: Daleks

Was one of the documentaries they showed about the production of the new episodes and the they were at a table duing a read through. The fellow who does the Dalek voices uses the ring mods even during read through and had them on the tables set to different settings for quick switch between voices. ...

Re: voyager trouble

The ribbon cable from the keybed to the LHC may be loose. Then remove the 5 screws on the back and open it and make sure the cable that enters from the center of the keybed to the boards is plugged in fully. Make sure all the ribbons are seated, about ten of them, while you are there. Close it up an...

Re: VX-351

Having a largish modular system, the vx is really nice. It gives me note, pressure, gate and velocity info from the Voyager. Also becomes a decent midi convertor. Being able to take the touch screen out is a big plus. Reversing attenuators is not glamorous, but VERY useful. (Think about the envelope...

Daleks

I'm sure most of us knew that the voice of the Daleks was ring modulated. Was watching a bit of a docu on Dr. WHO and they showed them using two Moogerfooger Ring Modulators for the various Dalek voices.
