Re: Sonic tune up
Slabwax is right. Moog swapped out my caps and upgraded the internal software to,I think, 3.1. For those who want to know... I sent my LP out about mid August. It took about four days to get there. When they are about to open the unit they call and I have a verbal conversation with the tech. Major h...

Re: what should moog release next?
Since one of the upgrades for the moog guitar is a 13 pin midi conector. I would like to see Moog produce a unit that a midi guitar can dirctley plug into and has a number of lfo outs

Re: Sonic tune up
Yeah. I just got it back last night. I got the sonic upgrade as well as the vc outs. When I got it back I spent most of the night tweeking my freqbox as a third ocsilator. So I didn't get a chance to notice how the sonic up grade sounds.

Re: Moogfest 2011
I'm going to Moogfest 2011. I got the VIP tickets. For anyone that's been the in the past, what time does MF begin. I'm thinking I'm going to get to Asheville around 4:00ish. Looking forward to seeing Tangerine Dream, Moby, Adrian Belew. Eno too. This is like a pilgramge for me. I'm hoping to get a ...

Osc pot unstable
The osc pot on my Little Phatty fluctuates here are the symptoms. When the led is set to twelve o'clock, it will become unstable and trend in the cc direction. When I turn to full range in both directions and set it to full deflection in the cw direction, the led will max out with about twenty degre...

Re: Slim Phatty OUT of tune
I'm having similar problems. The osc pot is not stable. It trends in the cc direction. If I turn cc fully I have about three LEDs yet to go. If I go cw, the LEDs max with thitry degrees turn yet to go.
Please advise.

Amplification ?
I was wondering what type of amplification other LP users might be using. I have a Marshall JCM2000 TSL60. I put off plugging my LP in the amp but I gave in a couple of days ago. Wow! I played through a clean channel. What I got was rich tones; far richer that when I use my Beats head phones. I stop...

Re: Slim Phatty = Too Limited or am I Too Lazy?
I'm focused on Moog products at the moment. The lttle phat is the new center of my musical approach. I bought mine a month ago. I've been a guitarist for the last thirty years and only played keyboards half heartedly. Since I bought my LP I've told my guitar friends I'm through with the six strings,...

Knowing bpm when changing lfo cycle
Hi guys I recorded a track with a cool lfo pulse. The problem was is that the lfo signal was cutting through the drum tack and throwing my timing off. I tried taping the lfo rate but that was too clumbsy. I looked in the LP manual for a bpm indicator for the lfo, it seems that it does not exist. I'm...

New LP
Hi guys I just brought home my new LP with blue LEDs. It was only a short time before I began recording some bass lines I was very happy with. WOW! It's amazing what two oscilators can do. I'm looking forward to getting a CP-251 and adding some moogerfoogers to my system. Moog has got to be one of t...

CP-251 question
After years of consideration I have decided to make my modular from MoogerFoogers. I would like to convert my guitar signal to an LOF and I belive I can do this with a MF102. I would like to split that into three different LOF signals and send them to three MF107's then combine them at the CP251. Wh...

Ok I give in. I was kind of rash when I said that I would go to another company for modular. It's just that I'm so impressed with the freq box sounds...what more can i say about that. Funny thing is I've been playing guitar for over twenty years and very little keyboard. I found I like using the fre...

modular?
Hi I'm new to this forum. But I have to ask the burning question. Is it possible the Moog might go back to the modular systems of the past? I'm sure that the mooger Fooger people have questioned that. Moog already has the circuits. Why not the housing? I remember an article in Keyboard magazine in t...
