Tuning and Buttons
Hi all, i'm having a little issue with Auto-Tune on my Stage 1 LP. when my LP is set to Auto-Tune it doesn't accurately tune the pitch of the oscillators, sometimes it can be as much as 30+ cents out of tune. I've updated my firmware to 2.2 which was a nightmare (see previous post) but still have th...

thanks for the reply, yes i have the auto tune switched on, however i'm not using the latest os but the previous one. i do leave my lp switch on to warm up a bit as i find that the sound quality improves once it has a bit of juice running through it. the tuning might waver about 4 cents from time to...

Tuning Issues
Hi all, i'm having a small problem with my LP that it has tendency to detune itself by a couple of semi tones. I'm aware that de-tuning is a common trate with analog synths, however the LP has a self tuning function so it shouldn't do that. i've gone in the tuning section in the options and set it t...

switched on
hi all, this may appear a silly question but can the lp become damaged if its left on for a long duration? the reason i ask is that i was using its earlier today and something came up that i had to suddenly leave, resulting in that i left the LP switched on accidentally for about 9 hours. i'm 99% th...

calling all phatty owners
Hello all, could all you LP owners out there do me the biggest favour and test your LP for me to see whether your units are acting like mine? My LP is acting a little weird by if set the LFO destination to filter, i can actually hear the waveform produced by the LFO on the main output!? for some rea...

my LP is a stage edition (first edition with silver back). This might sounds a little dumb but who is Amos? Andrew Amos Gaynes is the man at Moog who usually posts on these forums, but has been rather busy lately working on the various projects that keep Moog Music profitable. As far as I can tell,...

my LP is a stage edition (first edition with silver back). This might sounds a little dumb but who is Amos? as i'll be needing help to resolve this issue. I have seen that you can buy a replacement power unit for LP, and have been told that you can mod the first stage edition of the LP with the powe...

strange. this problem happened before and I overcame it by leaving the LP on for a few hours with all the knobs set to zero (fully to the left/ 7 o’clock). For some reason the problem doesn’t happen if all the knobs are set to zero, however as soon as I positioned the knobs the problem will reoccur ...

Faulty LP
Hi all, I bought a LP from ebay just before xmas and there’s a bit of an issue with it. Since owning it I’ve updated the OS to the latest version but a problem has occurred that the LP controls itself. For example I can leave the LP with the preset button emitting yellow (meaning preset hasn’t been ...
