Re: Moog to Debut new instrument NAMM 2012

Well, if you can afford 2 sets of T3s, you probably can afford 1 Little Phatty and 7 Slim Phatties connected as an 8 voices polyphonic Moog !? Don't wait on Moog Music to create the ultimate polyphonic Moog instrument that everyone is asking for since 10 years now... It won't happen. I have a phatt...

Re: Moog to Debut new instrument NAMM 2012

i'm aware that it is the holiday season, however, there has been a massive spike in cheap T3 eBay auctions by the big warehouse music retailers. Re: Slim Phatty VS Oberheim SEM?

sonically, its like the difference between a Marshall (phatty) and a Hiwatt (SEM).

i have a little phatty stage II, a minimoog voyager, a 2 Oberheim SEMs (1 patch and 1 midi).

the phatty has its own lovely, dirty, gritty sound. the SEMs are more hi-fi to me if that makes any sense.

Re: Just watched Fedex drop a Moog 55

First mistake is that FedEx Ground is not FedEx . It's some other bullshit company that FedEx purchased/merged some time ago. If you want FedEx then do not select ground, use the Air shipping, if you can afford it. Better yet - hire a private freight that could carry out to letter your specific hand...

Re: Restoring Opus 3...a few issues.

could you cut out some rectangles of mylar, cut a slot down the center for the slider to travel, and then glue to the under side of the front panel? go buy a 14" - 18" drum head (can buy a black one if yo don't want to use clear, too) and you will have plenty of stock to make many rectangl...

Re: High Quality Covers/Cases Now Available For The T3

this is your one and only post thus far on the moog forums.

could you post a pic of all your gear in the 12+ cases you've purchased to make me feel like this is not advertising?

thanks.

Re: Slim Taurus, Taurus Filter Fooger.....

i just purchased a second set of Moog Taurus 3 pedals, seller described them as about a month old, for US $1425.00 on eBay. If you really want a set - just watch eBay. There are plenty up there in the US$1750 range.
