If I were a paid musician, perhaps my choice would've been different, but because I won't be making money (anytime soon) out of this investment, I decided that for now the LP is a better choice. Hey, some of us are paid musicians (not paid particularly well, but paid none the less) and we rock LP's...

What's with the mother theresa thing? It's freakin' hilarious!

"Chuck Norris sleeps with a night-light, not because he's afraid of the dark, but because the dark is afraid of Chuck Norris."

Classic stuff

Wow, so much can happen over one day! Here I was thinking that this topic was done and dusted, and on it's way to the back of the pile, but wow! I left out earlier how I've also played on a Voyager Performer Edition, so the OS wasn't my only exposure to the Voyager. Undoubtedly the Voyager sounded f...

Essential Moog-Featuring Songs

Hi all, I thought that it might be a good idea if a thread was be started where everyone could suggest a few good Moog-filled songs that they can suggest to everyone else on the forum. Or, you could also recommend some songs that you feel are important to Moog's development in the music industry. Le...

The wait's terrible. It's only been a few hours... And I've got at least 4 weeks! Hahahaha... I'll find a way! As to how I made my decision... I had the two synths (LP and OS) set up next to each other and had an extensive chat to the owner about each synth. It's the second time I'd been to the stor...

Well, I'm back from my good-old retailer... And after trying the two synths out... and taking much into consideration I've decided to go with the Little Phatty. I walked in with pretty much a %99 positive mindset about buying the Old School. But after having them both set up there and playing on the...

I'll go with the OS if they're still in stock, because they're on special right now and there are only a few left at that price. If I can't get a good deal on it then I'll go with the LP.

Yeah, I was probably 14 or 15 at the time, and was only just getting into music! I didn't even have a job so I wouldn't have even dreamt of having the money to buy one.

Goin' to the retailer tomorrow after work... It'll be the longest 4 hours of my life!!!

I saw a micromoog once... it was only A$800, I'm not sure what that converts to but it was the same price as a new microKorg if that helps.

Before you decide whats in your price range, why don't you try novamusik.com. THey have some of the best deals on Moog ive ever seen and they include lots of freebees. You very well may be able to find a performer there for the price of an Old School somewhere else. If I had to choose between any o...

Help me make a decision in buying a Moog!

Hi all, I'm new to these forums and intend to buy a Moog Synthesizer in the near future. I've come to the conclusion that a Moog Voyager Performer will never be in my price range, particularly with the economic crisis in tow, so it's down to the Old School and the Little Phatty. So what are your per...
