Re: SQ-1 ?!
So the sound i hear output from the 104m when no guitar is being played is CV ? And if so why does it create so many sounds without a guitar? No it's not CV your hearing. If you still have a cable plugged into the input of the 104m , then that means your feeding it low level noise. If you then cran...

Re: SQ-1 ?!
How do i use this thing. is there a way to plug cv out from the sq-1 to cv inputs on 104-m to create some kind of sound to sequence? Normally you would use the sq-1 to sequence a synth and then put the 104m on the output of the synth. Your not going to get much by sequencing the 104m controls with ...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
Isn't the 104m sd the most expensive ?
I’ve never had enough noise from my 108 to ruin anything when using it.Doesn't seem any noisier than anything else. Certainly not as noisey as the EHX stuff I have.
@jamesmod - what settings on the 108 are you finding unusable ?

I guess the hard part would be applying a single global control to something like filter cutoff, LFO speed, OSC 1&2 type/pitch etc to all of them
You could probably set up a midi controller to control all your Minitaurs at once or mult a cv.

I don’t think bass synths are a very good candidate for this sort of thing. Wouldn’t you be best using something that can play higher notes?

Re: digital and analog pedals
I am probably a minority on this board with the concerns I have within my band. I have read articles breaking down what digital does to a sound and it seems there IS a loss or degradation to a sound that goes through a digital processor. My concern was less with my synths as it is with the violin a...

Re: digital and analog pedals
I pick depending on the sounds I can get from the pedal, not if it's analogue or digital.
Some analogue pedals are better than some digital pedals and some digital pedals are better than some analogue pedals.
Best to use both and not limit yourself.

Re: No Wheels
Doepfer “ we wheel electronic “ with wheels and case of your choice will do it.
They also make the A-174-2 Wheels module but you’d need case ,power and cv to midi conversion.

Re: Midi to USB / Moog Voyager
I have another issue about rebooting everyday : i use my Mac on clamshell mode, with an external monitor / keyboard. To reboot i would need to open the Mac everyday to press the power button and because i keep it behind all my stuff, it would be a hassle :p Being a musician is hard work. Why not le...

Do you have the cables connected to the correct ports on the Voyager ?
Also, computers are made to be rebooted. Most people switch off at the end of the day and power up on next use and their computers are fine.

Re: where to put a TR-909?
TR909 has no cv inputs and no control of sound parameters over MIDI so not much modulation happening. You have to do it by hand using the knobs.
You can filter and distort it using the input on the MiniMoog.

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
I actually use the RAT with a very low drive setting, just enough to get some mid frequencies and very, very little saturation. Using a reamp box shall certainly work better, but I must say I'm happy like this and tend to keep things light. I may try this some day though... I found that going direc...
