Why didn't you just get a repair or replacement Voyager ?
Most of us have had Voyagers for years with no problems.

Re: Voyager Select output impedance

Yes it does, but output impedance (and input impedance of the D.I.) is important to know when choosing a proper D.I. box since it influences the frequencies that are transmitted.. All a D.I does is convert impedance. If your outputing line level and connecting to a line level input (which you are) ...

Local controls are in the Master menu - not the Panel menu.

Re: OS dual low-pass filter Spacing, stereo/mono, and effect

So looking at the block diagram again, the big issue with using the effects insert is that it is not only pre-filter, but pre-envelopes and therefore affected by the keyboard gate and ADSR.? I dont see it as an issue. It's great for changing the sound of the oscillators with out affecting envelope ...

All the Legato modes should work like that. If only mode 4 is working , then I dont know what could be wrong.

Phew (wipes brow). I'm glad it's a feature and not a fault.
Thanks Rudi.

Re: Voyager RME oscillator 1 is out of tune

Sounds like it just needs calibrated. No need to buy a new machine.
Why do you suspect it's something to do with the FM feature ?

Re: glide mode 2 does not work as I expect

Hi, I thought that overlapping midi notes would create glide, and if there is a gap between notes, there would be no glide. You thought right, that is correct. I actually dont get this to work with Live. Please help I'm not a Live user but It works the same with every sequencer I have tried, so I'm...

Voyager boots into local controls menu

My Voyager RME has started booting into the " local controls" menu everytime I switch it on. It's been doing it for 3 or 4 days now and happens everytime I switch off/on. The first time it happened my local settings had changed to all off but the settings have stayed as I left them since. ...

Re: Voyager Envelope times

They don't 'mean' anything. They are just reference points. The times are not linear to the scales. Whats the point of having reference points that dont refer to anything ? I cant see how it's possible for them not to refer to specific times. I know the scaling is not linear. I wouldn't have asked ...

Are you being sarcastic or did you just not read the question proerly ?

To be clear , I'm asking about the times of the markings with NO number beside them.

Voyager Envelope times

On the Voyagers front panel, some of the markings around the attack/decay/release knobs are not numbered.
What times do they represent on a proerly calibrated Voyager ?

If this has been covered before please link me to the post.I tried searching the forum but couldn't find any info on this.

I prefer to have a computer that only runs MIDI editors, leaving my DAW free for recording.
MIDI editors dont tend to use much CPU power, so you can pick up something that will do the job really cheap. Old computers with 700mhz - 1ghz cpu will do the job.
