The Revolution has some settings that sound like a 303 but the sound is weak, amp and resonance are not the same as a 303 and note ranges + knob ranges are different. The remix thing with the sequencer is not great and the Fx are a complete waste of time. I did like the layout of the Revo. The steps...

i notice that the lil phatty GUI looks amazing compared to the GUI for the RME/Voyager. Any updates planned in the future?

Didn't realise the Moogs had a GUI. Aren't all the interfaces real knobs and switch's ?

Maybe you'd be better with a normal Voyager than the OS.

Shirleigh Moog could have said at one point that she had a pillow that looked like a strange piano with knobs but her Husband built her a real life version of it. Very true! A MiniPillow D! Or a body pillow modular... Don't get your gitlfriend into modular pillows. The house will end up covered in ...

Press the "master " button on your Voyager and scroll to "MIDI out on/off".
Change that and see if it makes a difference.

Set the ENV. GATE switch to on/ext.
That way you don't need to hold down a key.
Then in the mixer make sure you have the Switch for external sources set to on.

links - seems to answer my next question... 4. Overdrive - Any tips on how to achieve this. Love this feature from the Phatty. Amos from Moog had recommended the ProCo Rat 2 at one point for getting Phatty-like overdrive on the Voyager. m Lol. I bought a Proco rat after i read that and couldn't get...

Re: Could you please give me your opinion on something?

I did this track as a demo for some friends to hear what the Voyager sounds like. Id really really like some great constructive criticism on my technique. I think if you want to let your friend here what the Voyager sounds like it should have no external processing and you should tweak it more or f...

Re: Voyager release problem

The OS 3.5 will get different MIDI controller on/off functions - then it's possible to switch off foot controllers, switches or pots. Have fun, Rudi w00t!!! That's great news. I thought I was going to have to ditch the MPC but it looks like it can stay. Are there any other additional features plann...

Re: Voyager release problem

Thanks for your help Rudi. After further testing I have found that while my P3 only sends "All Notes Off" when I hit stop, the MPC60 also sends a "sustain pedal off" message (cc64,value 0). I can't seem to find a way to get the MPC60 to not send cc64 when I hit stop. Is it possib...

Re: Voyager release problem

Hi, this problem has nothing to do with the RME. When your sequencer sends a release off message after stop then the RME switches off the release. Rudi Hi Rudi, I have looked at the MIDI 1.0 Specification and there is no "release off" message. My sequencer sends an "all notes off&quo...

Voyager release problem

When I have my Voyager RME V3.4 connected to one of my sequencers (Sequentix P3 and AKai MPC60) the release parameter gets switched off everytime I hit stop. I can press play and then either adjust the release knobs or change "release function" in the panel menu and things will be back to ...
