Re: Strong Wrong and key contacts thread from AH

It might be the same one - I recall it appeared to be back in the stock case, with attached keyboard.
I know he did still have the separate keyboard from the remote.

Re: creating a tracking ringmod

Sadly, no. The OSC out on the freqbox does not change/track frequency in this case - the Hard Sync is retriggering things, and you hear an apparent pitch tracking - but the OSC out is not affected by this, there you hear a constant pitch, controlled only by the big knob, or by CV in. You can run the...

Re: Strong Wrong and key contacts thread from AH

Ah, yes, the man with the Shoulder Piano!
Jeff is a true monster on the keys, and an amazing guy with the gear.

And just to keep it relevant, afaik he still owns a MiniMoog Model D, which
he purchased new!

Re: let's drink to the hard working people, Amos

Indeed - Analog synths are like the rest of the real world, you seldom get perfect, but you have a lot of fun along the way. Despite the amount of bitching I do online, I spend hours and hours being happy with music, and the Moog gear is a big part of that. Just got my LP back from repair with the C...

Re: CP-251 Mixer output problem

Hi, is the power supply harness from the VX-351 still in place? No, the 351 is not powered at all and there is no internal power connection between the 2 units. I have noticed that without having anything connected to the cp251, the "noise" that is produced from both mixer outputs, has a ...

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Why not remove the lower case and special characters to free space? I'm sure people will understand and actually prefer new functionality over lower case characters. +1, although I'm not sure what this would "break". I have the Librarian Editor software and it might not play well with tha...

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Amos, I am upgrading a LP Stage II from v2.21S to (hopefully) the latest build #660 -
Do I have to uprev to the 3.0? version that is with the phatty loader, or do I just install the
bootloader and the upgrade directly to #660 in the second step?

thanks

Re: Sell my Prophet 08 SE for Doepfer A-100 + MF-101 Yes or

.... But besides that I understand what you're saying about perhaps saving the P-08 SE and saving up for the Doepfer system. Thanks again! : ) One other note - the big cost hit with the Eurorack is the case/power supply. Once you have that, it's pretty easy to put together a plan and purchase thing...

Re: Sell my Prophet 08 SE for Doepfer A-100 + MF-101 Yes or

There are a few things to consider. The Prophet has the nice sequencer, actually multiple nice sequencers. Unfortunately, sequencers for modulars are Not Cheap, either in cost or rack space. (of course you can use a computer for this) Other big difference is tuning - the P8 is basically always in tu...

Re: Proud new father...

There are differences, the MIDI murf has the murf patterns in the A bank, and the Bass Murf patterns in the B bank, i think.
If you can't find the murf manual online, i can scan the patterns page, if I can find it.

Re: New webpage nukes old accounts?

Okay, weirder - found the service login. Service still remembers me, bless 'em.

So, what, now there's a third login for Moog, just for the website?
Unique from the forum and service accounts?
Seems a bit silly.

New webpage nukes old accounts?

Hello,
Attempted to sign in on the web page to check on stuff, the new web page does not
recognize my email or password.

What's the deal? Don't you remember me? I bought all that stuff!!

Re: LP OS3?

@cliffman: Pitch bend response is much smoother/faster via MIDI now but it is not linearized. I think I initially underestimated how much effort this would involve. I'd still like to do it, but adding volume velocity sensitivity is higher on my list right now... -Amos Sigh. Is hokay. No-one else se...
