Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Two guitarists and myself. This is a section of a jam from earlier in the month. Lots of effects on the guitars. I am playing a machinedrum, Simmons SDS400, and a x0xb0x fed in to the octatrack mainly used as a mixer and effects box (occasional sample triggered).

Re: EHX pedal based analog sequencer

What parameter are you trying to sequence with it? Try triggering notes with midi (external sequencer or keyboard) and using the step 8 to modulate the filter. The minitaur only responds to CV from 0 to +5V; so, moving the sliders below the mid line will not do anything. Also, make sure the depth on...

I like Sub and Slim and just throw out SP. Least confusion.

Re: EHX pedal based analog sequencer

Arrived yesterday. Don't know if I'll need the gate out mod. Nice that it is relatively easy. Looks as if it existed at some point in the design. The white plastic buttons feel cheap, don't think I'll use them much though. Stomp switches are very easy to finger push, no click! Sliders feel okay (as ...

Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions

I'd love to be able to set filter cutoff keyboard tracking beyond 100%. A multiplier in the menu to set the range of the KB tracking 100%, 200%, or 400% would be great!

SP & SP: Phatty Abbreviation ClusterFlux

SP has been used for Slim Phatty on here for a while. I have read SP used for the Sub Phatty in recent weeks. :?

TE: tribute edition
LP: stage 1 and 2

What do you want to use for the slim and sub? SP for either one is confusing.

Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions

And another thing I also recommend is steady ARP with MIDI clock without offset, so you can hit note out of beat, but ARP stays in groove. Otherwise you really need to focus to play first note tight in sync and than you need to play legato if you want it to sound musical and in tempo. this is defin...

Doh't. I'd didn't just think about it. I read it last month.

Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions

Just thought of a huge one! Not sure if it is possible. Inspired by the sub phatty, I'd love a front panel shift mode for the menu parameters for the stage and slim! I hate relying so much on the push encoder, but the real advantage is after a bit of work all could be memorized. Button to select the...

Re: little phatty modulation amount

On the LP, just keep the modwheel in the full up position. Use the front panel LFO amount to set depth that is saved with the patch. I guess there could be some places where the functionality of the LP could be a problem. What are you doing where this would be a problem? Maybe there is an easy work ...

Re: EHX pedal based analog sequencer

Mine arrives shortly. For those lamenting about no analog clock in, you are in luck. The external CV in can be configured for several uses including sync to external analog clock. I will mainly be using mine to control filter cutoff on my modded x0xb0x. I am sure it will also be pressed into action ...

Re: Slim Phatty loses volume on sustained notes?

The low output seems wrong, but I don't own a sub-P to test. The fading sound sound like the envelope is still in the decay stage. Try setting that to 0 along with the attack and release with only the sustain at max.

Re: Little phatty for polyphonic synth?

I just got an LP yesterday, I'm primarily a guitar player but I won it for free so I figured I should learn how to use it! I was just wondering if when I run MIDI I can play it like a polyphonic keyboard or not. Also any other info for a newbie synth player would be greatly appreciated! It's midi o...
