Re: NAMM 2015

Is NAMM open to the general public? I'd like to go but it used to be just for music educators and music industry people. Is that still the case? Yeah, pretty much not open to the general public. It is totally crowded and crazy as it is though so I shudder to think what it would be like if they allo...

NAMM 2015

I am determined to make it this year and have already purchased plane tickets! Besides our friends at Moog displaying the awesome Emerson clone, other large format modulars to be seen are Moon Modular with their own booth (look for me there ) and for the first time ever that I know of, Club Of The K...

Re: Power One PSU suitable for Modular ?

I'm assuming there's no problem with heat dispersion ..no need for large heatsinks? I haven't had heat problems for a couple reasons (I'm assuming) One is that I'm not running any of my power supplies near capacity since I have a supply in each of 8 road cases. Secondly the Power-One supply is dire...

Re: Power One PSU suitable for Modular ?

Hi, I've built up 8 different power supplies using Power-One linear supplies for my 5U modular. Most only have +-15v but one even had +12v and -6v to support using an old Moog VCF . Here's a couple threads on Muff's where I posted about them. You may need to be a member there to see the pictures: m ...

Re: Fixed Filter inductors

From this site: http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_1/chpt_15/4.html

When inductors are connected in series, the total inductance is the sum of the individual inductors' inductances.

When inductors are connected in parallel, the total inductance is less than any one of the parallel inductors' inductances.

Re: "Switched-On Bach"/Carlos Available for Download?

I wish Wendy would make an official YouTube sampler of her albums, no more than 1 minute each from up to 3 pieces per each album. I'd do it, but i can't afford to be sued! 8)
