Old School and regular Voyager persons
Hi, I'm looking for people who have both. I picked up a Voyager 2nd hand. Mainly because I have a bunch of patches backing up and I wanted to transfer them over. I wanted to see if my life changed very much from having midi and all that. But I am having a problem. Nothing seems to be "wrong&quo...

Before you use the microphone, find a continuous source of audio such as a CD player. Learn the nature of the controls with that and it will become clear what you have to do. I would tell you, but I usually have to ecperiment with it my self for each use. But if you use the microphone for testing, y...

Are the Stage I presets no longer available? Or do you mean presets you contructed? As for the organic sounds. Well first, have you joined that yahoo user group called knob tweakers (or something similar)? A guy from there is often inviting people to join, but I dont have the exact details. I was ab...

How to damage the voyager via CV (or have fun)
How easy is it to damage the voyager via CV input mistakes? In my synth past I have only tried simple pitch and gate control. My assumption is that detriment is not too common but it is possible. Are red ports inputs only and blues output only? From the Old School's outs called Cv and Gate (not on r...

I skimmed the posts, I didn't notice seeing this idea. Is it possible to have a mode that breaks up the oscillators to make the phatty a duo phonic (two-keys played ate a time)? With splits? and a simple step sequencer....I know I know...but how about it, duophonia at least? Is that software do-able...

I'm not Amos, but I 'd say your question isn't answerable. The real question would be a 4 parter: How many CP-251's are in stock, how many can you make in one day, How many are on order (includes rebate), and how many Cp-251's do you average shipping in one day. But then you have to factor in your p...

Yeah, some of those electric pianos can't be beat in a mix. Like in Alan Parsons Project, Eye in The Sky. I'm guessing thats a Fender Rhodes. Organs are interesting. Did anyone ever try to make a synthesizer off of that concept? Fender Rhodes sound very analog and organic, I dont know how organs wor...

Patch lingo (sync & seq)
I notice that many pre-made patches have a sync or seq variation. Sometimes the seq version sounds weaker, so I'm sure some setting needs to be tweaked to bring out the magic. - ei. Thomas Wolf's (113 - This Story Seq 2) Also with sync, It seems its a term in the patch world that means a specific sy...
