Manual Losers! (a rant)

I have a question, and if you are one of these people, please don't be offended, just fix yourself and move on. (you can get the gist in the first paragraph, but please respond - am I alone in this?) But who are these people in the world who lose manuals?! It is ridiculous that an adult cannot keep ...

So, I have been one of the whiners on this thread, and today I got my CP-251 - so miracles do happen. It shipped via UPS, in a plain brown box, but does include moogerfooger ® CP-251 printing on box. Packed with Manual, power supply, and CP-251. I purchased mine LP in december (22nd), but it wasn't ...

My eyes are playing tricks on me, that Hosa thing looks like it was made by M.C. Escher. Good point though on the cables weighing down the VX & CP.

I'm just jealous, we unhappy people have to bring down the happy any way we can, level the playing field.
For the record, I added the wink before anyone saw, a late april fool's, if you will.
Very nice pillow tho, lucky.

Does the CP-251 need a power supply ? I didnt expect that. But i guess all those things couldnt be passive. Another cp-251 questions here. ...do the rack ears that hold the vx-351 and cp-251 together have a kick stand so that you can use it as a table-top lean-back? Or is it meant for rack use only?...

I hope that there will be an announcement when all the rebate CP-251's are sent. That way if we were expecting one and didnt get it, we could know we were not just immpatient but actually snubbed.

Actually it has blue wheels. Maybe it was an after market upgrade.

BTW, if you want an original Voyager I know a guy selling a Performer, with a VX-351 for 1900 bux. It has been autographed by Bob Moog, (both items have). Very good condition with manuals, no original boxes.
If you really have gas that is.

Yeah, I guess I remember something like that (did he use the word pure though? just curious), But I still thought I could tweak it into place. So yeah, further proof that the OS kicks serious ass. It does sound more pure. But the original voyager still is awesome. It's taking me a while just to figu...

Ok so, some of the original voyager's patches might be in 2-pole? I wasn't thinking of that. I just assumed that the 2 pole 4 pole thing was a global setting, not a per patch setting. Maybe that is the difference. Thanks

Calling Dr. Amos, Is it possible that the Old School and original Voyager - while at exact patch settings sound quite different? Just so you know I have done the due dilligence, and have noticed with the oscillator frequency knob, when even moved a micrometer, it can vastly change how an oscillator ...

Yes it was the famed Voyager box, which added to the "it must be the cp-251" because it's in the voyager line. But naw, if I was smart I would have called and said, yeah, I also have a cp-251 coming to me, so if you can just throw it in the same box, I'll get out of your hair .
