Sound wise it is similar to my Little Phatty. I haven't delved into it too deeply yet. I imagine it's capable...

Re: Voltor's video's

Congratulations !! Sounds Sounds Sounds! Enjoy . How does the build seem? Is it similar to the Sub? No idea how the Sub Phatty feels. I can tell you the keyboard is amazing! Just like a Voyager. The knobs feel similar to a Voyager, as well. More vids to come, possibly tomorrow. Monday at the very l...

Thanks, it was really all about the unboxing there :D
By the way, when you turn it on how long does it takes to warm up and become stable in its tuning?

Cheers
About 5 minutes.

Re: RIP Kevin Lightner/Synthfool

Monica told me during a phone call that there would not be a memorial service. She didn't want there to be a bunch of people standing around talking about synthesizers, which makes sense, actually. Everyone who knew Kevin for any length of time knows how humble he was, almost to a fault. The world l...

Re: RIP Kevin Lightner/Synthfool

I am a good friend of the Lightners, so I will continue to update everyone here with information as it becomes available. This is a very hard time for all of us, especially Monica. I only wish I could have met Kevin in person. His legacy will continue to live on, though he was humble enough to not b...

Re: RIP Kevin Lightner/Synthfool

Kevin indeed suffered from degenerative bone disease in his spine. He spent many days confined to a wheelchair. Other days were spent in bed. He spoke to me often of euthanizing himself. On top of all that, he didn't have a penny to his name. Kevin's is a tragic and sad story.
