Resonance (most common term) is simply a feedback look and is often also called: Emphasis Peak Feedback Regeneration Resonance By having this feedback loop in the circuit, the frequency control sweeps the point at which it is most evident to our ears. Looking at any filter contour diagram helps to e...

CPU "correct speed" = Big Uh Oh... I thought they were all the same speed essentially and that might be my big problem. Any tips on a part number or spec so I can make sure the one I got is the right one?

Thanks Kevin!

Thomas

PS. I'll have to check the other functions when I get back from vacation.

Chip summary: Missing all CA3080's (now correctly replaced) Missing the z80 processor (now replaced) Missing all sorts of other op-amps (dual tl072 compatible types, ca3046 I think, and many miscellaneous other IC's) I replaced all that were empty with the identical type shown on the service manual ...

Moog Source Repair Question

Hi all, I have a Moog Source in "fair" physical condition, but the sound engine is not working. The panel membrane is intact and all buttons register as the function they should. When I opened it up I found someone had removed all of the CA3080's and many of the other IC's. So I put new IC's in all ...

Yes, the triangle is usually lower, although it is due to the waveform having less harmonics and not amplitude per say. The more harmonics (eg. square/saw/ramp) the easier it is to hear the waveshape "cutting" through the mix. Triangle is almost a sine which is why it is often a common LFO shape for...

I'd love to be able to save the EGR mode per patch, or to have it "stick" as off unless I want it on. I have to go and turn it off every time I start my synth up now.

Great work Moog and Amos on this upgrade! I knew you'd come through for us out here!

Thanks!

Thanks Amos and the Moog team! I just want to be able to set the EGR Matrix off permanently until I need it. Well, that's not entirely true. I want the arpeggiator too and more patch memory. But, I love my LPTE and will support the Moog vision. My Moogers have never let me down and the LP gets a lot...
