Re: Is the Taurus III for me? (Newbie questions inside)

Does anybody knows if I am limited in terms of octaves when controlling sounds from a midi source? I mean: can I play higher-pitched strings, for instance, with the Taurus III? The already released V1.2(beta) of the Taurus III firmware has MIDI transpose feature. Topic: http://www.moogmusic.com/for...

Re: Is the Taurus III for me? (Newbie questions inside)

It's hard to justify a Taurus III in light of the Minitaur. And there are very cheap foot controllers to be had also. You can save yourself hundreds in the process. If you can afford it, go with the T3! Some advantages of the T3 (if your are into the sound of the Taurus): 1. Presets - you will have...

Re: Taurus 3 firmware update v1.2 - now with new features!

At the moment, it is very difficult to tap the tempo for a 16th arppegio or lfo speed with the foot in a live situation.
Would it be possible to modify the tap-tempo function in a future update to tap in the desired BPM directly?
This would be a great help for me.

someone with an RME will have to confirm that a midi keyboard controller w/pitch and mod wheels generates CV at the VX-351 for keyboard pitch, gate, pitch bend and mod wheels... This will work. Sometimes I use my RME as a sort of very expensive MIDI to CV converter to control my small Doepfer modul...

From my own experience:
The VX-352 alone has a very limited influence to the sound of the RME because it has only CV inputs. If you can not afford the CP-251 as addition now or in the near future, I would buy the MF-102 as first addition to the RME.

VX-351 with Voyager RME and Doepfer morphing filter works very well here.

Hi!

I would keep the LP and buy a second hand Voyager RME.
So you have two voices instead of one and keep the investment under control.
