buttons..

I dunno why but I get the feeling that in 20 years rubber buttons will begin to rot or harden and lose elasticity like old rubber usually does... am I alone on this? 20 years down the line it may be unusable... and I cant see how there will be replacement switchmats... its not like a knob or switch....

Yeah... It's a concern because its easy to hear with the oscillators turned down... But if the oscillators are turned up... I can't help but think that it is muddying up the sound with digital noise somewhat too...

i see..

Are the pots on the Voyager analogue or are they digital? I thought I had heard that they were not analog but had a high digital resolution. The Alesis Ion has 12 bit endless knobs. Thats 4096 values I believe.

Cool drawings

Voyager vs Model D

Is the sound very different? If money was no object, which is really the better choice? Recently I have become fascinated with the Minimoog Model D. The question is, am I just buying into the hype? Or does it really have something that cannot be touched by more modern synths. I am only 26 and I cann...

Endless knobs...

I was just thinking... wouldn't it be cooler if the knobs were endless... that way you dont run out of knob with the led marker up at half way...

Voyager with Little Phatty knobs

I think a Voyager that has the LED Knob interface of the Little Phatty would be awesome. Same sound engine designed by Bob Moog but with an updated interface.

Disabling sending and receiving of continuous controllers

Is there any way to disable sending and/or receiving of the knobs MIDI continuous controller messages? I'd like to just send and receive midi notes wihout transmitting the controller changes.

Thanks
