Re: Moog Slim Phatty

Well: http://www.moogmusic.com/littlephatty/?section=product&product_id=21398 I dare say that is the best damn product video I've ever seen. A lot of people have said this is a re-hash - It really isn't when you put it in context with what the world of analog synthesis has been becoming for the las...

Re: Songs w/ Little Phatty

Finished a couple remixes recently, both use Moog LP for nearly all bass duties.

Enjoy!

Re: Moog Slim Phatty

Is the LP discrete? I thought there were lots of IC. Some, but it's pretty much discrete (the Envelopes definitely are 100% as Amos confirmed it a while back on Gearslutz.) You'd be surprised at how many much revered "discrete" analog synths use ICs. It is more about knowing the limitations of thos...

Re: Moog Slim Phatty

What I meant was that its not as simple as hooking the units up via midi and BAM theres duophonics. I got my Taurus hoping to get duophonics out of it and still no luck either. I want to AT LEAST be able to drone basses while I play melody with my right hand on the voyager, but you have to transpos...

Re: Moog Slim Phatty, aka WTF is this? :)

Oh no... here we go again. Yes, I saw that last week while researching what might be up with XL. Gov, maintains a Trademark db with a search feature and you'll find that text registered there. Apple (Inc.) mongers scan trademark and patent db's daily to try and find out what they are up to next. I ...

Re: How about a LP rack version

While the Voyager RME is fantastic and already exists, I agree completely that a LP RME would definitely fill a cool niche in the product line, especially if they could find a way to swing it for ~$1k. I'm certain they could probably simplify the interface and electronics down into a 3 space rackmou...

Re: Wouldn't this be great as the next Moogerfooger!

Agree Moog could easily make an analog chorus/ensemble pedal that would make us all cry for joy. The 104z is not doing a good chorus anytime soon, using cv on the delay time goofs up the time range, delay times can't get short enough, and the range between chorus before audible delay is TINY, very d...
