RCA Theremin

I think it is the RCA, but as I said earlier there are times when I doubt his claim to "LIVE". He recorded the new CD all to Protools and having seen countless people run protools/logic/Ableton live and play over the top, I'm bewildered by the theremin section. Maybe I shouldn't get hung u...

I seem somewhat surprised

I bought it out of curiosity and was immediately looking for the "B*llshit factor". i found it in the section where he plays the theremin. His hand remains in one position and yet the pitch rises by a large amount. Now I know from my etherwave, if I had a rather spicy chilli the night befo...

Oxygene, Live in the living room...
DISCUSS?
I can see some nice Moog gear there, but general performance and honesty is my topic here?
Any views on this classic remake?

I fed it sys Ex which rendered it dead. Actually I'd saved the patches I made for Moog luckily. I sent them to Steve D at Moog via email. He loaded them up and told me to pack the LP up because I'd overwritten the firmware  . It could output sys ex, but not receive it. Prototypes are me...

Number 30

Number 30 here in the UK. I've had it since they were first starting being shipped by the guys at Moog. I was asked to program some of the sounds and therefore I felt only right that I should buy one. Great little beasts.
although I did kill one of the prototypes  via the gift of MIDI

as bizarre as it sounds

Whilst on tour with Chris de Burgh, we played Castles in the open air throughout the hot summer evenings in europe. I left my Select series with keyboard EXternal ON so that I could keep the volume down and yet throughout the songs, keep a constant A on osc 1 and TUNE IT. As I went to play it, There...

Re Lunar

Guys, I think with the amount of photos I took recently on tour, it's hard to actually capture the backlighting from the Moogs. I took quite a few of the Voyager in various places and although I was using a Nikon digital SLR, I still couldn't capture the lighting. I've put more photos up on both my ...

not Jade

Analog man,It's not a Jade select series.... Check out the backlighting.... to the left you have LUNAR I've been using it on the Chris de Burgh tour over here in Germany and it certainly looks different...Sounds awesome. I've got some great shots of the Voyager with a lake and Mountain background. A...

Re backlighting

analogMan, The white backlighting is fantastic. I have a select series Voyager....
its picture is on my MYSPACE...
All of the backlights are superb. I think the Jade is cool and so is the solar.
The Lunar is certainly WHITE though..

Yep, Cimple Solutions are cool. They handle the Moog repairs. To be honest, there's not a lot that can and does go wrong with them. I've got 2 voyagers and an LP. The only problem I have is which one to use  . They have been fantastic and wondefully stable. Seriously though If you need any rep...

another method

I @m going to train my dog Rufus to use the touchpad....his nose is wet and the will slide nicely across it. The only drawback is I'll have to clean it with a wetwipe afterwards JUST IN CASE I decide I want to taste the touchpad for myself...... Possible alternative method maybe having...

It's not an easy choice

I've written some reasonably nasty things about Turnkey in the past and I agree with all the comments. I have been kept waiting to be served, paid for something that's not in stock, had to wait for a delivery for weeks when I could have driven to London, picked it up, taken it to Japan for a vacatio...

Only in The UK

Because of the issues concerning the Logo in the UK(thanks to alex Winter who, to my knowledge was last noted using the Moog logo for a website featuring "MP3"s none the less).....we are subjected to having Moogs without the true Moog logo. It's just the way it is. This is something I can'...

I was chuckling at the fact that someone went to all that time to write out 100 patch names that were non existent. The extremes people will go to! fantastic I say....Let's have more presets nonsense. I got my LP yesterday :) and I was amazed to see it sitting amongst my gear.It looks at home. Some ...

preset list?

I know there isn't a preset list in the adobe download of the manual. Not sure about the proper paperback manual as mine is half way across the atlantic. I managed to program 100 new presets into a beta model of the LP. It's a great machine and I'm sure it'll be hours of fun and making music for its...
