From the Minitaur v2.2 manual - this should open the gate for external audio, too?
DRONE ON/OFF:
GLIDE + AMP SUSTAIN (Min to Max = ON)

Compared to what? High-Z Input?Clbraddock wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 12:22 pm Anyone know the output impedance for the Minitaur? I didn’t see it in the manual. I feel like I am losing a smidge of high end going into a 10k line input.
I have not been able to detect any significant change in the sound…
But my ears are also vintage

Re: Trouble Downloading Minitaur Editor Software?
moogmusic.com -> Login -> Go to Account -> scroll down (it's actually to the right) and you'll find your registered Minitaur with serial etc.
There are Tabs for Manuals, Editors, Firmware and Presets for each registered product with a "+" at the bottom to open. It's all there.

Re: Minitaur Midi Clock LED
Hi Till, thanks for your kind reply! I may have expressed myself clumsily, of course I would like to have the bpm beats of the midi clock displayed, as many devices do. The sysex command implies the flashing of the midi clock, which it does not do even when activated, not even as 24 ppq. So the ques...

Minitaur Midi Clock LED
I`m trying to establish a optical midi-clock display on the Minitaur's Midi-LED while syncing from Logic. There's no blinking neither with the Sysex "LED on" nor "LED off" from the "handy Minitaur sysex commands": MIDI Clock LED: F0 04 08 1E [xx] 00 F7: [xx] = 00 disabl...

Re: Deadband Mod on 70's Minimoog
I think this refers to a common pitch wheel modification: It gives the pitch wheel an electronic "dead spot" in the zero position - a small range that causes no change in pitch despite little movement of the wheel. Virtual Music in Austria had offered this https://www.virtual-music.at/de/m...

Re: Using MIDI CC/Minitaur editor to set 2nd VCO up 7 Semitones
offset the 2nd oscillator on a Minitaur by a set amount using MIDI CC The Minitaur manual has this information: VCO 2 FREQ (CC# 17): Sets the frequency offset of VCO 2 from VCO 1. The offset range is +/-1octave. Center position tunes VCO 2 in unison with VCO 1. NOTE: If playing between notes 60 and...

Re: Minitaur no sound
Same here today after weeks of non-usage
Midi flashes but no sound -
Editor USB works etc.
I finally tried "Restore the Global Settings" in the Editors Setup Tab - now it's fine again

MF103 DIY
I was able to get hold of one of the last MF103 Phaser two years ago. However, it had sporty dropouts accompanied by a loud humming. Today I finally removed the circuit board: IMG_9749.JPG Unfortunately the ground connection to the 2nd row of sockets was not soldered on the board side. This was prob...

Mod D Reissue Audio Hum
Hello at my device the output hums audibly on the mains frequency plus multiples (German mains 50 Hz).
Error or feature? How could I avoid this?
