This sounds like some sort of metronome.

Re: Ring modulator noise
never noticed any noise with my ring mod that I didn't create lol.
The Moog ring mod is the best and most versatile ring mod you could get. I'd highly recommend it. if you don't like it you won't like ring mod in general

retrokits rk004 acts as a usb to midi converter, no software required I don't think. it's just plug and play

Re: CP-251 bottom power supply?
I had this same question, got mine on eBay as well and it had only the one power connection. Apparently it's just a matter of opening up the CP-251 and removing a screw that holds the power connector to the output port, then move it to the other port and put the screw back on. Haven't done it myself...

Re: Minitaur visual quality
I don't see any jagged zig-zag lines on my Sirin.
If it really bothers you that much, you could always go to like StyleFlip and make a custom vinyl cover for your Minitaur. Though if you're a picky one then I'm sure you'll find something wrong there too

Re: New Minitaur form-factor synth
From what I've read, the Minitaur goes down to 10 Hz while the Sirin "only" goes down to 20 Hz. You'd figure that the differences are subsonic, but I'm thinking that the subsonic overtones can move into the audible range and the harmonics influence the sound a tiny bit. I found a video on ...

Re: HARDWARE DISCONNECTED - SIRIN
This happened to me once, ironically right after seeing your post and thinking you were crazy. What worked for me was powering up the Sirin and connecting USB first, then opening up my DAW (FL Studio 20) and queuing up an instance of the VST. Also I think there may be some merit to USB port choice: ...

Re: Something amazing happened to my Sub 37 - Sirin
The Sirin is my first Moog synth, but I do have 4 moogerfoogers and want a mother 32 . The sub37 combo sounds amazing! I'm sure you know by now since you've had the Sirin for a while, but you can totally change presets by pressing Glide + Osc 1/2 to go back and forth. It's a bit easy to get lost as ...
