I have also an old version (only with line out socket). I think you can make some very typical moog sounds with the prodigy. I love these typical moog filter sounds using only one oscillator or using the osc.-sync. A little bit reverb and it sounds great!

The IC 4007 is a standard CMOS-IC (CD 4007). You can order this part by any electronic distributors (it's not obsolete!).

congratulation to your prodigy. Because of the high age the pots and switches will often not work properly. When you are an electrician or you know someone who is an electrician it will be no problem to repair. You can disassemble the device easily and solder out the switches and pots. Clean ...

here a possibility for the tuning-problem:

please center the pitch-bend-wheel. Then measure with digital voltmeter the voltage between GND and the wiper from pitch-bend-potentiometer. This should be ideally 0V. But i think in reallity you will measure some hundred millivolts. Add a resistor ...

Knobs for Prodigy

Hello together,

i just owned a moog prodigy. The device is technical o.k. (must be tuned a little bit, but i think it will be no problem). Unfortunately there are missing two knobs (white) for two switches and one knob (black) is missing for one potentiometer.
Does anyone know where to get these ...
