Definitely does have that Colonial Maple 223 vibe. But unless I saw it in person (versus on screen) I couldn't say for sure. It has that bit of orange in it. How bad is the scratch?
Edit: Gunstock 231 might be it too... They're kind of close.

Re: Fan Noise + Other quirks?
I had the 8-voice originally, then switched to the 16-voice. I don't hear any difference in the fan noise honestly. They operate very quietly on both. If your space is not overly hot, the fans usually stay at the lower speeds. And trust me, if you get the 16-voice, you'll be glad you didn't get the ...

Re: Sequencing the arpeggiator?
I would suggest that functionality to Moog. It might be possible to implement. They could add a feature in the sequencer (send to arp) or something like that. The sequencer would then be dictating what the arp is playing off of. Nice idea!
Re: YES !
They didn't fix a kind of small thing that I've been asking for since Moog One came out. I will send it to them again since I think it's actually a fundamental issue. Basically, when you use any LFO to modulate the WAVE angle and that LFO is unipolar, the Modulation direction is inverted, which is ...
Re: YES !
Reporting back with the little bit of time I just spent with 1.5. I have to say that most of the issues I had with it are now GONE! The little clicks and pops from changing settings / preset / parameters are absolutely gone. It doesn't seem like much but not having these little digital noises was so...

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?
Maybe there should be a petition from the owners to request such a thing (if they aren't currently working on it that is). We just want a more stable synth. I've never had a synth that had so many bugs that got me out of the flow of writing. And to be honest, the Moog One is just too massive to be h...

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?
I really hope they're working on polishing the firmware because I always encounter them when playing. And there's nothing like bugs to get you out of a flow of music. Some sessions, I'll be working on a preset and all of sudden as I'm trying to modulate it, I'll notice that a parameter isn't acting ...

Battery Pack for the Moog One
That's right folks, I want to take the Moog One outdoors in the wild.
Any suggestions for a good battery pack and amp set up that would allow me to do this?

Re: Can I synthesize Minimoog sounds (exactly) on a Moog One?
When you put the the State-Variable Filter in series and have it going into the Ladder Filter, there's a lot of gain and growl when you tweak the emphasis on both filters in a certain way—very unique! The biggest flaw most people are actually pointing if they say the Moog One doesn't sound as thick ...

Re: Whats about Moog One Firmware 2.0 ????????????
I was considering selling my Moog One at one point, but then I realized there's just nothing like it out there. It's such a beast. I think most of the time, the problems I have with it is that I try to do too much with it. The possibilities are endless and I find myself getting lost in that. Whereas...

Re: Whats about Moog One Firmware 2.0 ????????????
They've created one of most amazing synthesizers and they completely gave up on it? I highly doubt that. It doesn't make any sense to me. Even if finances were an issue, you make the firmware open source and let the community fix it. I don't know, there's too much speculation about it. I just hope M...

Re: Whats about Moog One Firmware 2.0 ????????????
Moog will release a new firmware soon. And, it will fix a lot of the issues users have been complaining about. What is my source? I don't have one. But hear me out. There is absolutely no way Moog just stops here. They would have to be dead as company for that to happen, and honestly, if that is the...

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?
Some firmware things that bother me are when you hear weird sound glitches when you screenshot/save a preset or when you change the rate of an LFO that isn't being used, for example. Any change in parameter that isn't directly related to the sound that is being generated shouldn't affect the sound, ...
