Got my LP last night. Beautiful, flawless. Doubled-boxed, arrived safely. I didn't have much time to play it last night, but I did get through all the presets, and clearly there is some sonic magic in that machine. The orders to the stores will ship after the orders placed directly to Moog. I ordered serial #0002 from a store and havne't gotten it yet. Shouldn't be too much longer, though. As to when Sweetwater gets theres, it will probably depend on what block(s) of serial numbers they're getting.

The LP's overdrive feature sets it apart. I was impressed with how warm it sounded. Most built-in synth distortions I've experienced are awful and harsh-sounding. Also, a feature that the LP has up on the MMV.

Got my VX 351/352 bundle today, looking forward to setting them up.

Thanks to Siobhan @ Moog for helping me out. My wife used the foam endcaps from my RME packaging for packing stuff when we moved (DOH!), but Moog was good enough to send me a new set.

As I understand from talking to Moog, they are shipping orders placed directly to Moog first, then they will ship orders placed through stores. Serial numbers are therefore not necessarily going out in order.

I see #9 and #15 have been received, but no #2 here yet. Hopefully UPS will have mercy on me when it finally ships.

Ive not played one board where aftertouch has really added anything useful to the synth imo.

I know what its meant to do and it fails on all counts. Its a waste of money and time for moog to implement it in the phatty. The voyager doesnt need it either..i dont reckon they'll waste any time trying ...
