Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

On the main page when you call up a patch, the 4 knobs under the display are inactive. It would be amazing if they were assignable mod sources, available to all 3 synths. The possibilities are endless. Bring one synth up while lowering another.Bring in an LFO and sweep a filter on one synth, while a...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

As others have mentioned. 1. FX Parameters as Modulation Destination. 2. Envelope Multitrigger doesn't always trigger. 3. Triggering Sequence from Key often misses the first note. 4. Oscilloscope waveforms move when being modulated. 5. Sort background noise of FX 6. Add Compression/Limiting FX. 7. ...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

1. a performance page on the screen would be cool. It would be nice if you could assign the 4 control knobs under the screen to the cutoff of the 3 synths, for example. I like to create sequencings that consist of the 3 synths at the same time and currently have to jump back and forth between the s...

Re: CV outs

Some of these would even be useful for use within the One, from one synth to another. I was told by a sales rep, not by a Moog employee, before the instrument was released that these were all in the plans, and indeed they seem like logical capabilities to have if physically possible, so hopefully th...

Re: lot of bugs

The external input is getting louder per voice I play. Hi Brian, this is the expected result. Anything going to the External Audio Input is combined in the Mixer as a part of each voice for that Synth. If you play multiple voices you will hear multiple instances of everything going into that Synth'...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

Apologies if I missed this one in my quick read-through of both the manual and this thread, but: Global LFO mode : change an LFO from per-voice to per-synth. I've been bringing this up for a while. A global envelope would be welcome to. My current workaround is to use an external LFO via CV, and if...

Re: Moog Please Fix Envelope Sync / Loop Issue.

Seconding. It does not mean you can't use looping envelopes in time with the other clock driven functions, but it does mean that you can't do it with fast or zero release or attack stages, and that you have some constraints otherwise.

Re: Moog One Bugs

I'm encountering issues with voice panning between the L and R main outputs. The INIT patch, for example, sometimes it's centered, sometimes it's very left heavy (9 to 12 db difference between L and R). This appears to change with reboot (e.g. from left heavy to right heavy, or, perfect center for ...

Global Mono setting, a la the DSI instruments. As of now if you havepatches with stereo spread that you wish to use in mono, you need to edit them and maintain separate versions.

Re: Moog One Bugs

Not sure how common this is, but the filter cutoff frequency of the ladder filter varies from voice to voice. Most noticeable if you have the filter self-resonate, set the tracking to 100% and play the filter as an oscillator, as one does..... My gut says that this is simply a calibration thing. I t...

Re: Moog One Bugs

WAVE ANGLE BLEED in all 3 OSCs. When the WAVE MIX is 100% PULSE, WAVE ANGLE bleeds through and changes the sound of the OSC. For example, if you have OSC 1 with 100% PULSE, changing the WAVE ANGLE (either SAW or TRIANGLE) affects the sound of OSC 1. Shouldn't 100% PULSE completely cancel out WAVE A...

Re: Moog One's TRIPHONIC MODE

My quasi-paraphonic idea is being able to set the envelopes to behave as monophonic single-trigger envelopes even when on a polyphonic patch. (Or multi-trigger, but still one per synth, and not per voice) This would allow the same thing essentially as you are suggesting by using one oscillator, but ...

Re: Moog One Bugs

Signal-to-Noise Ratio I'm not sure if this is considered a bug, but I wonder if there's a way to improve it with the upcoming firmware or if it's hardware dependent. Compared to most other synths in my gear, the Moog One does have a tendency to be noisier with a quieter overall signal (even after m...

Re: Moog One - Not For Everybody

To add to the excellent posts above - Putting the 2 filters in series, SVF in LP, Cutoff at Max, resonance cranked, but listening only to the output of the Ladder can get things even more aggressive and buzzy.
